What does @EmmanuelMacron think of us Africans? How can he demand respect in a forum he is a guest? I think it was disrespectful of him playing the bully card in a sovereign state.

We must urgently review and correct the current SHA Insurance arrangement. Forcing SHA on people who already have valid insurance is unnecessary, unreasonable, and counterproductive.
The current setup is also distorting claims processing, with insurers now demanding confirmation that SHA will pay 30% before honoring their 70% share. This is obstructing care, shifting burdens unfairly onto hospitals, and defeating the purpose of the system.

Wacha niseme!
ODM must urgentky start the process of looking for a stand-in Party Leader to replace Dr Oburu whenever he’d not be able to personally lead party activities.
The top ODM leadership will kill Dr. Oburu by demanding that he fly in choppers all the time, affecting his well-being, and even not live his age.
New party leader must be groomed now or we fold the party and find new vehicle.

In 2013, Danson Mungatana lost Ksh. 76 million to a traditional witch doctor from Chad who was in the country and was in the business of praying for people's money to double. For context, Danson Mungatana was the MP for Garsen Constituency at that time, an alumnus of Alliance High School and an advocate of the high court of Kenya.
Mr. Abdullahi, a sourcerer and traditional medicine man, was from Chad and was staying in Nairobi at that time. Mungatana met him through a friend. First, he invited Mungatana to his home in Nairobi, and the MP was amazed by the opulence, the presentable and professional employees, expensive cars, and tight security around the compound. This made Danson to trust him more.
To get him hooked and succeed in the bait and switch method, he was first asked provide Ksh. 500,000 which he got back after a few months with 100% interest. Happy to get Ksh. 1 million, Mr. I went to Alliance was then asked to give Ksh. 5 million for an investment, which he provided without hesitation. The Mganga kept his word and doubled it after 6 months, giving Danson Ksh. 10 million.
Now that the cow was fully fattened and ready for slaughter, he was asked to provide Ksh. 76 million for another 'investment'. Danson knew it was the real deal. Emptied his accounts, sold all parcels of land to his name, took bank loans, sold his cars, sold his home in Karen, sold his stocks and bonds, called a few friends for 2k urgently, and even went to shylocks for quick loans. He delivered the money to the witch doctor in cash as always and in USD.
The witch doctor then switched off his phone and fyuuuu. Anyway, for you to be conbed, you must be greedier than the conman.

The breaking point happened last Tuesday. She told me she was going to a late spin class and then grabbing smoothies with a girl from her gym. Something felt off, just a cold knot in my stomach that wouldnt go away. Around 9 PM, I realized she had left her iPad on the kitchen counter, and it started blowing up with notifications.

A 14-year-old has been killed. A firearm belonging to a wealthy landowner was involved. The suspect named is the landowner's son. And yet, the public statements from local elected leaders have been... minimal.
We are not accusing anyone of complicity. We are simply observing that when incidents like this occur elsewhere (when the victim is from a connected family, when the suspect is from a marginalized community) the response is often swift and loud. Press conferences. Demands for justice. Visits to the bereaved.
Peter's family in Sosian Village has not received that treatment. Not yet.
Is that because Peter was poor? Is that because the suspect's family has influence? We do not know. But we are allowed to ask.
We are not the police. We are not the courts. We are simply members of this community, and we have questions:
1. What exactly transpired on the night of April 21, 2026, at Oldonyo Lemora Ranch? The public deserves a clear, transparent account from the investigating authorities.
2. Why does a 15-year-old remain unapprehended days after the incident, when his family is fully aware of the allegations and has legal representation?
3. What is the purpose of the reported mental health assessment and will it affect the course of the investigation?
4. Will the firearm licensing process be reviewed in light of this tragedy, given that a minor allegedly gained access to a high-caliber weapon?
5. Where are our elected leaders? When will they visit Peter's family? When will they speak publicly about a child who was killed in their constituency?
Justice is a Process. We Are Watching.
This post is not a verdict. It is not a trial. It is a community saying, out loud: We see this. We care about this. And we will not look away.
Peter Edung was poor. He was local. He was 14. He did not have connections, lawyers, or a PR strategy. He had a life ( short and humble) and that life was taken.
The least we can do is remember his name. Ask the questions his family cannot ask. And ensure that the institutions tasked with delivering justice understand that the public is paying attention.
Rest in peace, Peter Edung. Laikipia has not forgotten you.
And to anyone who thinks this story will simply fade with the next news cycle: it will not. Not this time. We will follow the investigation. We will share the updates. And we will continue asking the questions until answers are given; not just for Peter, but for every child whose life is cut short while the world looks away.
Share this post. Keep the conversation alive. Justice grows in the light.

Adjusting to life after bereavement is a long and trying process. The encouragement, prayers and company of friends and family help to lighten the grief.
This afternoon, I visited the family of my friend, Tiaty MP William Kamket, and Data Commissioner Immaculate Kasait, following the recent loss of their son, Bill Ballot Kassait Jnr.
The family is strong, and we continue to wish them the strength to bear the gap left by the untimely passing of Kassait Jnr.
We also took time to discuss matters of development in the region following the efforts we have made to restore peace and security.
We were in the company of Bomet Senator Hillary Sigei, Mogotio MP Reuben Kiborek and his Bureti counterpart Kibet Komingoi.

@ahmednasirlaw @HassanSMohamud Kindly be kind to yourseld. Transpose this to the Kenyan situation where you are both a gatekeeper and ass licker.
English

President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud @HassanSMohamud of Somalia made his name as corrupt thieving President who sold every piece of land in Mogadishu and stole every penny in the coffers of the state. His thievery has few parallels in Africa. With 35 days to go on his term and facing political oblivion and possible jail term and with the fake constitution he wrote in his bedroom lacking an iota of legitimacy and traction, Hassan Sheikh wants to start civil war throughout Somalia. This fire he wants to ignite in Baidoa is solely lit to extend his tenure and continue his corrupt enterprise ad infinitum. He has now mobilised some family militia and wants to create havoc in South West State with a view to overthrow President Abdiaziz Laftagareen. Hassan Sheikh must be stopped and defeated and then given a safe passage out of office in 35 days. His scheme to embroil Somalia in a new cycle of civil war is a cynical ploy to extend his illegitimate and corrupt regime. He must stopped.

@AnuarSaddat Junet is a fool. He wont know what hit him when the fifth decides thst its enough time to deal with the fool.
English

Junet one time told Kenyans how Ruto approached Raila to help him impeach Uhuru.
He claimed that when Raila Refused, a plan was hatched to kill Uhuru in Kisumu.
He said that it was the quick action of Raila removing Uhuru from his plane on a tarmac in kisumu as he was about to depart for Nairobi in January 19th, 2019, that saved President Kenyatta.
Today, that same Junet is a leading Ruto lapdog and lackey who is quick to abuse those he perceives to be Ruto’s critics in his efforts to demonstrate Loyalty to Ruto.
Politicians like Junet are only loyal to their stomach. They won’t let shame stop them from filling their stomach!

Jimi Wanjigi arrives in Solidarity with Raphael Tuju!
English

@RobertAlai You are just hollow and shallow. In one million years you cant match Uhuru's family wealth. This is a fact and disclaimer: I hold no brief for the Kenyatta family.
English

Tuju knows that Uhuru, through their bank's shareholding in EADB, wants to take his property in Karen.
The family has 270 acres, and they want the close to 30 acres of Tuju so that they can have a block of 300 acres.
Instead of being honest, Tuju is making it look like Ruto is his headache while it is Uhuru and the Kenyatta family giving him hell on the property.
Tuju should just be honest.
