This morning I said I wouldn’t quit the game cause I’d invested too much money in it. Today changed my mind. I’ll wait until July 9. If there’s still no response, I’ll delete the game. The trust between Infold and its players is gone. Completely broken. #BRINGVALKOBACK

About Valko’s cancellation: As a day-one player and Sylus main I’ve witnessed most (if not all) highs and lows of Love and Deepspace, but this situation broke my trust on another level I won’t be spending more in-game after my monthly pass runs out. BREAKING NEWS: Love and Deepspace caves to the whims of a loud group of upset CN players, confirming their complete cancelation of Valko, the newest Husbando character. Not a delay. No. A full cancelation. Instead of addressing the slew of issues currently present in-game, they canceled a character they've been working on for hundreds - thousands of hours. This has now lead Global players to lash out, begging Papergames/Infold to just delay the release of the character, to better integrate him into the game rather than outright canceling him, with many people coming back to the game after the announcement of Valko. A bit of backstory: A couple days ago, Love and Deepspace upset MILLIONS of players (millions of negative comments left, millions of followers lost across social media.) This lead to Chinese players sending cow dung, funeral chrysanthemums, curse banners, and ritual items to Papergames/Infold's office, alluding to some very serious consequences. The controversy also drew attention from Beijing Daily, and other CN media outlets, which have published articles stating that the backlash reflects a growing crisis of trust between Papergames and its core player base. This company ruined the good faith they had with MILLIONS of their Chinese players, and then further tarnished the good faith they had with their Global players as well. Showing that Global doesn't matter, only China does. Adding on to that, their commitment to listening to an angry group of loud, unreasonable, angry players over the rest of their level-headed ones. This might be the biggest catastrophic event in the Gacha genre of 2026. Infold? More like Flopfield. This wasn't the answer.

In all my years of playing gacha games, this is a World's first. 😰
