🚨 Sir Alex Ferguson on the difference between young Cristiano Ronaldo and today's young generation:
"What separated Cristiano was not his talent, but his perspective."
"Most young players saw football as an opportunity. Ronaldo saw it as a responsibility. He believed that if he had been given a special gift, he owed it to himself to maximize it."
"I never heard him speak about becoming popular, only about becoming better. His conversations were about improvement, not recognition."
"The modern generation is incredibly gifted, but Cristiano had a rare ability to remain focused on the process while others were focused on the rewards."
"That is why he became more than a great player. He became a reference point for every young footballer who dreams of reaching the highest level." 🏆✨🐐

Cristiano Ronaldo shares the mindset shift that changed how he sees life
“Sometimes we give so much energy to situations that don’t go well in our lives but when you have a health problem you just stop and your priority is the cure to resolve the sickness. The other things are not important”
“We put everything in the same package trying to solve so many problems when sometimes this isn’t a problem. This is just situations of life, daily things”
“We focus on so many things and we forget to focus on the main thing. Focus on your priorities, don’t focus on so many things”
“This is what I learned over time. You start to see life in a different way”

🚨 Pep Guardiola ends the debate over who is the greatest manager between himself and Sir Alex Ferguson:
“I don’t think there is any real debate for me.”
“What Alex Ferguson achieved in football is something extraordinary.”
“To stay at the top for so many years with Manchester United, rebuilding different generations of teams and continuing to win, is almost impossible.”
“I have always said Sir Alex is the benchmark for every manager.”
“Yes, I won many trophies and I’m proud of what we achieved at Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Manchester City.”
“But longevity matters.”
“Sir Alex dominated English football for decades.”
“He adapted to different eras, different players and different styles of football and still remained successful.”
“That is greatness.”
“As coaches, we all leave ideas behind, but Sir Alex built a culture and mentality that lasted for generations.”
“I learned a lot watching his teams and the way his players fought for him.”
“For me, if people call me one of the greatest managers, I am honoured.”
“But Sir Alex Ferguson is in a different category because what he did is part of football history forever.”

Anies Rasyid Baswedan@aniesbaswedan
Hari wisuda ini istimewa. Besok hari-hari biasa. Namun, ujian yang sesungguhnya adalah di hari-hari biasa ke depan. Itulah pesan yang kami sampaikan saat pulang ke UGM untuk melepas wisudawan sekaligus menyambut mereka bergabung ke Kagama.

5 time Champions League winner, 5 time Ballon d'Or winner, 3 trophies with Portugal, titles in England, Spain, Italy & now Saudi...
Highest goalscorer in Real Madrid history, Portugal history, Champions League history, NT history, uncountable records to his name, 27 goals away from becoming the first to reach 1000.
Normally at this stage, after all these accolades, after winning so much, at the age of 41 someone would get bored and not have the same drive, the same motivation.
But, this is Cristiano Ronaldo in tears after scoring a brace to win Al Nassr the league in Saudi Arabia - after trying so much, after coming close so many times.
When you truly love something, you never get tired of it, not in a million lifetimes, not ever.
A player who lives with football. A motivation for everyone. Once in a lifetime player & person. Football is blessed to have Cristiano Ronaldo. 🐐

🚨Thierry Henry on Cristiano Ronaldo tears after winning the Saudi Pro League:
🗣️ “ People see Cristiano Ronaldo crying after winning the Saudi Pro League and some laugh because of where he is playing now. But for me, that moment explains exactly why he became one of the greatest athletes we have ever seen.
This is a player who has already conquered football. Champions Leagues, Ballon d’Ors, league titles in England, Spain and Italy, international trophies with Portugal… there is literally nothing left for him to prove to anyone.
Yet at 41 years old, he is still celebrating victories with the same emotion, the same fire and the same obsession he had when he was a teenager at Sporting Lisbon. That is not normal. Most players lose that hunger after winning one or two major trophies. Cristiano never lost it.
People always talk about talent, but mentality is what truly separates legends from great players. Cristiano trained like every season was his last chance. He treated every game like it mattered. That is why he stayed at the top for almost 20 years while generations of players came and disappeared.
To still have that level of passion at his age, after everything he has achieved, is honestly unbelievable. It tells young players that greatness is not only about ability, it is about sacrifice, discipline, consistency and refusing to ever become comfortable.
You can love him or hate him, but you have to respect that mentality. Football may never see another competitor like Cristiano Ronaldo again...”

🥺🏆 Mikel Arteta: “It’s one of the best feelings I’ve ever had. I couldn’t watch City game. I could hear noises from inside, then my son opened the door, ran towards me…
…he was crying and he said ‘we are champions daddy!”.
