Culture is what you tolerate. Not your values deck. Not the offsite. The late deliverable you quietly accept. The snarky comment you ignore. The meeting where nobody prepares, and you still run it. Standards erode quietly. Because every time you tolerate something, you set the standard. “This is normal here.” What’s one thing you’re tolerating right now that you shouldn’t?

At @ATLANTIS, “Ocean View” doesn’t necessarily mean ocean view. I booked an Ocean View room with a sofa bed, but was given one with a partial ocean and mostly city/marina view – and there was no sofa bed. When I raised it, I was told by the manager that it’s the guest’s responsibility to double-check the room category at check-in. Having stayed for years at Marriott properties for 1000+ nights, I’ve never experienced such a trust gap. This was disappointing – especially knowing there are plenty of rooms with the full ocean view. The rest of the stay was spectacular, but this felt like a quiet downgrade. I hope the team reviews this process so future guests receive exactly what they book. I’d still recommend the property, it's lovely – just double-check your room at check-in to ensure you’re getting what you paid for. For example, in the attached picture, the rooms pointed to by the arrow are also classified as “Ocean View”, even though they are predominantly city-facing.

🚨 Only 18% of UK state school kids use AI. In private schools? 52%. This isn’t just a digital divide—it’s a future-readiness divide. As a dad and founder, this hits home. We can't leave our kids behind in the AI revolution. We need to talk. #AI #EdTech #Parenting

I was in a rush. Groceries arrived, and without really looking up, I took the bags and muttered, “Thanks.” It wasn’t rude. But it wasn’t thoughtful either. As I walked back in, my daughter said, “You usually say it properly,.. and with a smile.” That landed harder than I expected. “More is caught than taught.” Kids pick up everything - Kindness when no one’s watching, Impatience when we’re in a rush, Calm when we breathe through chaos, Tension when we don’t. And it’s no different at work. Your team sees how you show up - in the wins, in the mess, in the silences. Even your smallest habits shape the culture around you. We’re always teaching. Especially when we don’t mean to. So the question isn’t “What are you saying?” It’s: “What are you doing?” #Parenting #Leadership

@X @Support @elonmusk Is supporting Indian time zone so complex? When asked about X Ads supporting Indian time zone, official support mentioned that Indian time zone is not supported. I’ve been asked to select Bangladesh’s time zone?!! Is this too difficult to implement?
