@misapup OH I found an easy way for this I used a Focus Mode (Work) that I can just turn on and off when I want to stream it! You can set displayed apps and notifications in that mode! This is on my iPhone so I can't show it but basically only procreate is allowed on my iPad work mode!

Is there a way to stream procreate on your pc without doxing your messages and notifications on your iPad??

@ChlobearVT If you have any uncommon markings or tattoos I would cover them. I use hand warmers for this reason (my fingies are freeeee). I wouldn't be that scared outside of that. So it's depending on how ordinary your hands, forearms are! But also hand warmers so are cozy!!

someone told me about a story of a vtuber that did handcam streams and they basically got their irl self doxxed and everything leaked about them just from their hands because people are.. crazy is this something to actually be scared about happening? should i wear gloves for handcam streams in future if i do them? im genuinely unsure but it has scared me a bit

Sometimes I feel like my design, even though I designed her (with my lovely model mamas help) is too simple that people don't want to draw it. I know it's silly, but going from a more stand out ish design to something I absolutely adore but is simpler is weird for me >.<

As much as it saddens us to hear the news around StreamElements, if they do end up shutting down, users will feel right at home with Lumia Stream’s overlay system. StreamElements was actually one of our biggest inspirations when creating our own overlay platform. One thing we’ve always focused on is making overlays easy to use without a steep learning curve. We also have tons of free overlays created by our amazing community and creators, along with the ability to easily build and share your own. Our overlay system is completely free with no paid features locked behind it. The paid Lumia Stream features are focused on the desktop app side of things like smart lights themes, variations, unlimited chat commands and even then, only a small portion of Lumia Stream is actually paywalled. Majority of our users have been just fine on our free version for years We’ll continue doing our best to make the transition as smooth as possible for anyone looking for a new home. ❤️

With the rumors circling StreamElements, I'm curious what options are there , not for overlays and such, but anything comparable to SE Pay which has been my main draw. Overlays, alerts anything can do, but SE Pay has been extremely nice for donos.

@zachbussey Whether this is true or not it would be great to have SE Pay alternatives (if there are any) overlays, alerts that can all be moved but SE Pay was a huge asset for tips/donos.

RE: StreamElements To get everyone on the same page, here's a breakdown on what's happening, because rumors always travel further and faster in a vacuum. Earlier today, there was an initial rumor that StreamElements was laying off all staff and shutting down. I heard this secondhand from a trusted source, but, like any rumor, it was not confirmed; it was merely a starting point. (I personally require at least two independent sources to confirm a story, as individuals can make mistakes or misinterpret the facts, especially if there's a reason that might make it personal.) Since then, this single source has repeated this story to everyone in his StreamElements Sponsorship Discord (not the official one), and as such, it has been shared as a rumor widely across streamer Twitter. Yes, he does work for StreamElements as a Creator Success Manager. So, he does have credibility. At the same time, I have attempted to get secondary confirmation from anyone at StreamElements - but have been unable to. Every person I have spoken to about this (creators, former SE staff, media people) has the same source... the person mentioned above. Now that said, let's talk contributing factors: 1. StreamElements continues to be silent on the matter. 2. They have been slow to pay users in recent weeks. 3. They seem to have been removed from Twitch's Third Party sponsorship offers. 4. They have been soliciting donations to keep the service free. 5. They have had numerous layoffs over the last few years, and more have left of their own volition in the last few months. On the other hand, it's unusual to simply shut down a service with hundreds of thousands of users without first becoming a paid service. Or maybe just shutting down part of the service and focusing wholly on the sponsorship side. Either way, it's unusual. This entire thing is unusual. And while the rumors may end up being true, I don't feel confident saying that yet. As I said, my standard is at least two independent confirmations - more is better. I always prefer being right to being first. That said, given the situation as presented, it may still be worthwhile to ensure any SEPay money is requested, and you may want to download your alerts (or move to an alternative, such as Streamlabs. Disclosure: I have a partnership with them - but an easy link to do so is attached below.) If I learn more before StreamElements addresses it publicly themselves, I will share whatever facts I can confirm.
