@MeganAvc_ Adam Butler would be a better fit at 3-4 DE lined up at the 5T/4i JJ is best fit due to size but whom ever can be the 2 Gap Unless they run a hybrid where it’s a 3-4 yet they are responsible for a gap instead of an injury playing both Tyree Wilson and Paye will also play there

@MeganAvc_ @TideTerminator We should prioritize Best Player Available You should never reach for a position Example why draft a Safety in round 2 if the pool available is graded for round 3 and below. Our ability to stop the run and playing balanced defense is more critical

@TideTerminator Can get a safety 2nd round and a dude like Corleone day 3, really don’t think we should prioritize a NT day 2 with Pola-Mao back there. Raiders have a good enough run defense now, just need a big body and for what the position requires I dont think it warrants a 2nd round pick

Raiders might actually need a safety more than a NT. I feel like at NT having a guy be 15lbs under isn’t the end of the world, and besides we have two guys on the roster who already meet the weight requirements (Pegues and BMR). Pola-Mao CANNOT be the single high safety!

Kwity Paye is 2" shorter than Maxx Crosby but his arm length is slightly longer. He's very nimble and mobile also. There's a lot Paye can learn from Crosby about how to use that length.

@MeganAvc_ He should aim at bulking a bit to 275-278. Same as Tyree Wilson DE (5T / 4i) Adam butler / John Laula are good depth pieces DE (5T / 4i) JJ Pegasus at NT With Crosby at WLB / Wide 9 - With Koonce rotating

Much better fit as 3-4 DE. I think he has a good year. He doesn’t have the agility, bend or speed to be lined up on the outer edge (which will be Crosby and Koonce as OLBs). He’ll look better as 4-tech. Need a big disruptive NT up the middle.

I've been told by two league sources that the @Raiders should have the necessary cap space to welcome Maxx back and honor all the free agent commitments they have made. If so, the team Crosby returns to is far different than the one he briefly left? Enough to want to stay?

This puts the Raiders in an incredibly difficult situation. They lose the picks, they have a bunch of deals to be finalized tomorrow done under the assumption Maxx Crosby was gone, and now they may have to turn around and trade him again with the medical question hovering.
