Hey Georgians: You could be paying more to smoke & vape if 2 bills introduced in the House this week succeed. HB 83 raises excise tax on cigarettes from 37 cents a pack to 57 cents. HB 84 lifts excise tax on vaping from $0.05 per milliliter to 15% of wholesale cost.
