@silverstars1111 @Midnight_Sweaty I know plenty I went to therapy and I went because I knew I had a problem you should literally only go to therapy if you have to
English

@lvoltaicl @Midnight_Sweaty js say you know nothing about mental illness
English

@nielautomata All spicy peppers come from the Americas from now on if you claim anything dish as cultural know that you are lying because you stole those ingredients from native cultures
English

notice how everyone saying this discourse was stupid and uncalled for lives in fucking America, home of one of the most prominent colonizers and cultural thiefs in this planet's history, AND also white..... like does this not sound like racism to you
iris amelia@devoutposter
Anyone else feeling genuine despair over how stupid the discourse surrounding this is
English

@houndsmann Pepper with Capsaicin are all indigenous to the Americas remember that when ever you claim anything with literally the tiniest bit is spice
English

"not that serious," "stupid discourse," said by the whitest person you'll ever meet
remove AAPI since you won't even consider the voices of people whom you stole that ethnic ingredient from

@semxpink @laurapa1merirl No you said straight women don’t harass gay men at gay bars which just isn’t true. Which is what I was responding to your comment about
English

@lvoltaicl @laurapa1merirl Okay so what, you want us to be harrassed by straight men the same way you get harrassed by those women?? Why even bring this up when OP is against what YOU are against yourself?
English

@semxpink @laurapa1merirl Plenty of women just go to gay bars as groups of just women
English

@lvoltaicl @laurapa1merirl Straight girls usually dont try to hit on gay men (and im thinking gay men wouldnt bring such weirdos to gay bars anyway?) idk why this is the same as the straight guy thinking he will find a match at a lesbian bar to you
English

@tinkadun @Rektygon_ @laurapa1merirl I am well aware that homophobia is still an issue in the world but to say that across the board everywhere it’s equal is wrong
English

@tinkadun @Rektygon_ @laurapa1merirl But you are ignoring it because you said I didn’t say the exact thing I said in my comment how is that not clear to you?
English

@lvoltaicl @Rektygon_ @laurapa1merirl Oh I’m so sorry I forgot that the history of how queer men are treated actually revolves around you and your personal experiences. Stupid me!
English

@Sallysellssouls @Rektygon_ @laurapa1merirl There wasn’t a lot of gay bars till there was and it all depends on location like yeah Birmingham Alabama has less lgbtq+ bars then Seattle
English

@lvoltaicl @Rektygon_ @laurapa1merirl Even in big cities, there are barely any establishments that are for gay women only. I think it's a little unfair to stop femme-presenting members of the queer community from going to what you consider "gay bars for gay men only". Never heard of a lgbtq bar
English

@tinkadun @Rektygon_ @laurapa1merirl Did you just stop reading half way thru? I was born and raised in California were gay men are treated just like any other person
English

@lvoltaicl @Rektygon_ @laurapa1merirl Now why are you just flat out lying about queer men not being an oppressed and socially vulnerable group…????
English

@JoshuaW09549260 @laurapa1merirl It’s way too common and they pass it off as playful teasing
English

@lvoltaicl @laurapa1merirl Nobody wants to talk about straight c is women who sexually assault people in gay bars
English

@laurapa1merirl I’m just going to say this since yall want to talk about it I’m a straight dude who has gay friends and I have gone with my gay friends to gay bars around the globe and women always invade their spaces to fetishized them and also hit on them it’s not like it’s a secret or anythin
English

@laurapa1merirl Okay but is this any different from gay dudes being their straight girlfriends to gay bars?
English

@mouseorder @laurapa1merirl Tell me you’ve never been too a gay bar with heteros before
English

@lvoltaicl @laurapa1merirl yes cuz the girlfriends are there to party without being harassed, not pick up some twink
English

@Rektygon_ @laurapa1merirl Ryan women and gay men do not go thru the same struggles also gay bars arnt places for oppressed and socially vulnerable groups they are a place for gay men and while yes in some places they may be oppressed that’s what a lgbtq bar is for not a gay bar
English

@lvoltaicl @laurapa1merirl women are an oppressed and socially vulnerable class, them going to gay bars is taking them to a space for other oppressed and socially vulnerable groups.
straight men are the oppressor, and taking them into a space for oppressed and socially vulnerable people is dangerous.
English

@littlemanisfam1 @KnowahUS @mister_shroom_2 Except the key point of the comment I was responding to is that we have never seen him without his powers it’s like you took Usain Bolt’s legs from him in his prime you have no idea what he would do
English

@lvoltaicl @KnowahUS @mister_shroom_2 Because it’s either been outright said by characters like A-Train, or shown when he interacts with people anyone who isn’t afraid of him/ sees him for the man baby he is, like Stan. Have you watched the show?
English

I don't care what anyone says. This was out of character for Homelander, even for someone as insecure as him.
It would've made much more sense for him to fall into a fit of rage, like Anakin at the end of RotS. Not a baby offering to eat poop.
I will die on this hill.
vittorio@IterIntellectus
on Reddit they’re calling it the best show finale in history
English

@mister_shroom_2 The whole point of the show is that Homelander was, without his powers, a weak coward.
English

@lovergirldany White hair was rare in Westeros but not as uncommon as the show makes you believe. Maybe Ned just fell for a valyrian women
