what i wish the focal point of the conversation on immigration was: if you don't destroy ppls homes and livelihoods, ppl won't need to migrate. that's why ecological restoration across the planet is the biggest migration-prevention act anyone could take. youtube.com/watch?v=3qwshd…

I just moved to Cyprus 🇨🇾 My first impressions and why I moved: > it's safe (unlike rest of Europe) > friendly people (unlike rest of Europe) > quiet > clean air > fast WiFi > tax friendly > great coffee > amazing food > very walkable > incredible weather > affordable (€2 for coffee, €7 for meal) > great laptop cafe culture (unlike rest of Europe) > growing tech scene (unlike rest of Europe) It's been so long since I had somewhere I could lock in from and call home. I was torn between UAE and Cyprus but the last month made my decision for me. And so far I am so happy with my decision.

@alisha_barretto @MrCryptoWhaleCN They have no idea how to do anything with their hands. They're going to end up killing one another in a matter of weeks in their NZ bunkers.

@MrCryptoWhaleCN I wonder how people are preparing for this. Most of the aware investors, VCs, wealthy peeps are going completely off-grid. They’re self reliant, away from the cities, building their own small communities and use barter to exchange goods. It’s going back to the good old days.

Out of Cuba now otw home and finally have access to the internet I’m having a hard time putting into words the thoughts I have on my experience there the past couple days. The level of cruelty that the oil blockade the US imposes on the day-to-day lives of everyday Cubans cannot be overstated. Everyday conveniences and essential services that we take for granted are completely non-existent. Entire systems, that were already dilapidated by decades of sanctions and restrictions from participating globally, start to break down exponentially when you remove fuel from the equation. The innovation required to accomplish the most basic tasks is astounding. People existing at night in complete darkness from the blackouts, just trying their best to lead normal lives in spite of the lack of power. Yet every Cuban person I met was extremely kind, patient, and welcoming. The resilience the people of the island have is extremely admirable and heartbreaking to witness. Cuba is a beautiful place with amazing people and insane potential. What the US has done to that island is shameful and nothing short of inhumane

@S1Saint @GoldenRainbow69 @zhen_ming_ @Void_Bourn well. maybe I've watched his content before he started to turn into a crank unc because I haven't had impressions he was pushing any bias at all and I've watched all of his lectures from his classrooms since I stumbled upon his "how evil triumphs" lecture.

@Void_Bourn Their strategy is to tell the truth 90% of the time and lie 10% of the time; their goal is to spread the message of that 10%.

I have been telling you all for years: decentralize your supply chain. Do not let your key essential resources be at the mercy of megalomaniacs. Your water, energy, food, need to be off-grid. Don't do it alone but with your local community.

Iran is losing this war so badly. Khamenei spent the last 50+ years plotting to destroy Israel and America, but was killed in the first 30 minutes, and Iran’s entire leadership structure has been wiped out. Embarrassing. They’re now desperately trying to reassemble, but they’re getting wiped out too. Their missile force is collapsing. On the first day 1 (Feb  28) Iran launched a very large barrage, with roughly 150–200 ballistic missiles at Israel and other regional targets. The next day, the size of attacks dropped sharply, with launches reported in the single‑ to low‑double digits per barrage rather than huge waves. Today, around 40 very weak missiles were launched at U.S. and Israeli targets. 99.9% of them missed or were shot down. Thats -80 % drop in launch volume in just 4 days of fighting. They’ve effectively exhausted their entire arsenal, have zero leadership, and the entire Arab world has turned on them. People love to fear‑monger and pretend this will spiral into a global nuclear war, but in reality the Iranian missile threat has already cratered and this conflict is more likely to wind down sooner than most think.
