@megamazing77 exactly!! them being on the cusp of 'adulthood' gives them the illusion of choice and i felt like it was such a strong point in the anti-war sentiment, like how world wars often recruited freshly 18 year old men and promised them they were "saving the day"

@lycorania Omg I've never really thought much about this but you are so right!!! They were made specifically to be teenagers so the AS scientists and sirei could manipulate them easier while still being optimal for fighting.

might get a lot of hate for this but at this point I can't feel any worse, this fandom is way too comfortable with treating these characters as adults so they can justify their fetishes for them. Me personally, these characters are undisputably minors. 🧵
