Why believe the nonsense translation is accurate instead? What fallacious idiocy is it to say a nonsense translation is someone's "expressed intent"?

False. During the first primary debate, he said , “I would surge immediately” resources. In the second debate, he stumbled and said “I would immediately … surge to the border,” then didn’t say what. Seconds later, he clarified he meant “surge to the border immigration judges.”

Then to have such confidence in the least grammatically coherent interpretation is just silly. There is plenty to criticize Biden about, but this AI / broken language hill you are dying on is sad.

@howardhoplite @ReichlinMelnick Yours is such a silly transcription. Its grammatically insane. The first part, "Surge to the border" could be an imperative sentence, which doesn't require a subject. (Like "Go, there!" — the "you" is implied.) But then you add "all those people are seeking asylum," like a name.
