Only here for BTS and BTS only.
So if you’re downplaying the way ARMYs work and “fangirl” for BTS, with the usual justification that streaming and voting aren’t necessary to be called a fan, then this account is not for you 😊
We will continue to speak up against the unjust system because nothing will change if no one raises their voice.
Stream and VOTE for BTS, ARMYs 💜
Never downplay what this fandom has done for Bangtan. Hindi magkakaroon ng Swimside event na ’yan kung hindi dahil sa mga numero (streams) na pinaghirapan ng mga tinatawag ninyong “toxic” at “chart-obsessed” fans.
Those numbers didn’t just appear out of nowhere—they came from consistent effort, time, and dedication. Hindi lang basta “trip” ang streaming at voting; organized, strategic, at collective effort ’yan ng fandom.
At kung titingnan nyo mismo yung event, it literally exists because of fan engagement. Brands like Spotify don’t just create large-scale fan events randomly—they base it on data, demand, at kung gaano ka-active ang audience.
Kaya nakakatawa na mina-mock ninyo yung streaming culture, pero kayo rin yung nakikinabang sa results nito. Yung events, visibility, hype, at opportunities—lahat ’yan rooted sa parehong effort na dini-dismiss ninyo.
We, PH ARMY, didn’t just “show up”—WE built this momentum. From streaming parties, fanbase coordination, hanggang sa pag-push ng numbers globally, that’s what made the Philippines a viable stop for something like #SpotifyBTSSWIMSIDEManila
So no, hindi siya simpleng “optional fan behavior” lang na pwedeng i-dismiss. Because without those “numbers”, those “streaming and voting activities” you keep downplaying, wala ring ganitong level of recognition, engagement, and events in the first place.
while some are enjoying the hype, there are fans quietly doing the internal work that often goes unnoticed. the organized streaming, the voting, the translation of content, the constant effort to push bts forward in charts, awards, and global recognition..

voters and streamers ang dahilan bakit nasa mapa ang pilipinas for bts con. sa tingin niyo ba pupunta dito ang bts kung hindi nakikita sa stats and charts na marami silang listeners sa pinas? nakikilasap nalang kayo ng pinaghirapan ng voters at streamers mang-aaway pa

Taking a step back as an army and putting my digital pr & advertising hat on (I worked for local and global agencies and was on client side for around 10 yrs). My thoughts on the Spotify Swimside PR/Advertising execution...
The use of influencers is understandable if the event is open to all OR is still open for registration. Why? Because foot traffic is needed to declare success of the event. With micro and nano influencers, they would've been able to target the niche audience for the event. However for this one, it really didn't make any sense.
What could've been done is grassroots approach. Spotify could've maximised their data knowing who the top streamers were and give them priority access, aka Day Zero. That would've generated a more positive response because it's more community based rather than reach based.
If the top 100 streamers were given the access, their posts would've generated a more positive response aka stream more on Spotify and get a reward next time.
With reaching out to nano, micro and bigger influencers all they got was a negative response of, "I'll switch instead to AM."
The articles before the event, the media invites that makes sense still. They need the whole media buzz and they might compute for generated media cost. But imagine how much more buzzworthy those articles would've been if it were top streamers. Storyline of authentic armys, their real life stories of why they listened to bangtan, and what song they listen to when they feel down. They could've turned that to 100 unique stories which they can release bit by bit.
I know they say kahit anong buzz, negative or positive is good. But not when you look at it on an NPS (recommendation), Customer Satisfaction and Reputation level.
Yun lang. Nagbrain dump lang ulit ako. 🤣🤣🤣
wala akong pakialam kung tingin niyo sa amin ay toxic, it's honestly frustrating to see the same people getting opportunities over and over while others are overlooked, y’all are greedy asf.
