My first reaction was simple: why would you sell one of the brightest young full-backs you’ve got? Then I sat down and thought about it a little more. I can understand the club’s thinking. Amass is an excellent footballer, technically gifted, calm in possession and fearless, but he’s not the biggest physically. Maybe the manager wants a left-back who fits a different profile someone stronger, more powerful and ready to cope with the physical demands of the Premier League every single week. If that’s the case, then it makes sense why names like El Hadji Malick Diouf or Lewis Hall are being linked. They’re both only 21, have great athleticism, can get up and down the left flank, and fit the modern full-back profile Manchester United seem to be looking for. I’d still be disappointed to see Amass go because I genuinely believe he’s a talented young player with a bright future. But if the club decides to move him on and brings in a top-quality left-back who can immediately strengthen that position, then I can understand the decision. Manchester United desperately need stability on the left side of the defence. If selling Amass is part of a bigger plan to land the right player, I’ll be much happier once that replacement is through the door. Would you rather keep Harry Amass or go for Diouf / Lewis Hall?

Can anyone help! Was at York Races yesterday and had to leave suddenly before I could collect on a winning bet. Can’t find any details on-line for the bookmaker. What options do I have.
