@kvanaren @mharvey816 10 and eight were really good too. They were old enough to do things like help me carry luggage on an airplane, and entertain themselves. But young enough that I wasn’t worried what they were doing on weekends.

shoutout to 8 and 5: really good parenting ages, where everyone is free of naps and diapers and capable of understanding concepts like “tomorrow” and “my hands are full,” and sometimes it feels like you can take an actually full breath

@imariyahall I appreciate the ritual and action items for when a relative dies. And it’s not just during the immediate aftermath. It’s for the rest of your life. Judaism understands that grief and memory are important.
