had kiwis again today for the first time in years and turns out my entire tongue burns and my throat feels funny like oh ok

when i was a little kid my grandma used to give them to me all the time and she’d say it was normal that my tongue hurt after eating them so i believed her and stopped eating kiwis when she wasn’t around because i thought i just didn’t like them

just learned i’m allergic to kiwis
