Here’s another fact about indexing Here is something else, although indexing is a separate process. Siri does use the index to find stuff, the old Siri had an incomplete index so that’s why you get the “I’m unable to do that” or “sorry I cannot perform that action”

@ShaneAnime1990 So yes you may end up getting the Siri before indexing finishes or it could be that indexing finishes first and Siri comes after your turn rolls around

@ShaneAnime1990 I think the main reason why it’s taking people so long is because of the waitlist, indexing is separate, indexing reorganises your files into a searchable database making your phone faster, it allows features like spotlight search and Siri to instantly find stuff
