NEW OPEN FIELD IN QC The Quezon City government on Saturday inaugurated the new multi-purpose open field at the Quezon Memorial Circle (QMC), expanding the park's recreational and community spaces. Mayor Joy Belmonte led the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the 12,000-square-meter open field, which features walking paths, landscaped areas, views of the Quezon Memorial Shrine, a pond, and an amphitheater for sports, leisure, and community events. The project also includes a retention pond and detention tank to help mitigate flooding and collect rainwater for future use. (Facebook/Quezon City Government)
