Parasitism is an intrinsic part of any social network. When a post on a "controversial" topic — like mine — starts gaining a lot of impressions, a swarm of small, insignificant, invisible accounts that have never done anything noteworthy attach themselves like leeches, hoping to grab a handful of views. Exactly like the guy who stole my idea. They all try to feed off an account with more followers and visibility — but in the most pathetic way possible. Honestly, it’s quite a miserable spectacle to watch 🤮 In the end, only about 2% of users have original ideas, and the other 98% are just here to steal and exploit them.
