He has cost the UK a lot of standing in the international stage.” James Cleverly, who knows the relationships in the Middle-East like few others, highlighting how Keir Starmer’s milquetoast “leadership” in response to the Iran conflict has irreparably damaged his, and by extension the UK’s, standing both with the US and with our allies in the Gulf. Weak at home. Weak internationally. Keir Starmer has been found wanting when the country needed firm, decisive action, target than a man being buffeted in the wind and lucky that events haven’t spiralled completely out of his control.
