Luigi Colani was an artist. Also a German industrial designer, he was obsessed with round and organic shapes, ‘biodynamism’. In the late 1980s, Colani wanted to break the speed record in his class for a production car. He partnered with Lotec and modified a Testarossa for the occasion, this is the first version of the Testa d’Oro. It was in 1993 that it took on this even more futuristic look
