I’m a Penn State fan. So I’ve watched Drew Allar VERY closely. All the talent in the world. Can make every throw. Can scramble. Just so inconsistent. Goes small in the biggest moments. But never really had elite WR’s. Maybe McCarthy can fix him? Regardless, Steelers throw a dart.

Many people don’t like the Drew Allar and that’s perfectly fine. • Fantastic arm; something we haven’t had in a very, very long time. • Effortless touch. • Far better athlete than people think. The upside is very, very high and I’m beyond excited for Mike McCarthy, Brian Angelico and Tom Arth to work with him (Big Mac is a great QB developer and Brian Angelico learned under KOC). There’s some stuff to clean up, but IF he can develop properly the upside is remarkably high.

@PaulZeise There isn’t one glaring need that the Steelers need to fill in the first round. But if Max is good, that shores up the OL for the next 3 years. And then next year the Steelers can get a QB in the first, and have him come into a great situation.
