$PLTR So…what are we thinking folks? My quick takes on this: 1. $PLTR is up 45% YTD after this fall. Getting upset about a 10% pullback makes little sense to me. Stocks can take breathers. 2. I don’t know how much the Pentagon budget uniquely affects Palantir — I guess the street doesn’t know either and their first reaction was to sell and find out later. 3. Palantir’s 10K disclosed that Karp can sell 9.95M shares from now until end of year. I personally do not care about this and have not cared for the past 4 years. Jensen is selling a ton. Zucks is selling a ton. Insiders sell, especially when they spent 20 years building their companies. However, that news + the Pentagon budget cuts could have been the reason for the sharp 10% decline. Overall, Palantir is up a lot this year and maybe the street was looking for any headline to dump it and chose the combination of these two day. I really don’t think it you’ve been in the name for a while that you can be that upset given its 1YR performance, but understandable that people are nervous in the velocity of the sell off towards the end of the day.

When there is a stock trading above a $200 billion market cap and at an 80 price to sales you can’t complain that it raises some eyebrows. These types of numbers have literally never happened before in the entire history of the stock market. Palantir also moves up, a lot, with great momentum in days with no meaningful news. I posted that I thought palantir was a buy at $9. So I’m not hating on the company. But as munger said “no company is worth an infinite price”. That’s all people are trying to figure out.

it is actually hilarious to see the fintwit bears lose their mind over Palantir never actually studied the business never actually cared about the culture in the company completely wrote off the CEO looked at P/E and P/S and concluded that there is no way the stock can possibly continue to gain momentum i am not saying its cheap but whats laughable is the level of conviction some of these people had to be so definitive on their bearish thesis sometimes quality of management and customer testimonials matter when analyzing a unicorn over just the P/E

I’m honestly scared for today’s investors. They think things run forever and ever with no dips… Pretty common post with my $PLTR post where I say a huge dip will come. I’m a bull on $PLTR and some are laughing that I sold some in the $70’s from a $14 average after a 250%+ move in under 9 months. Valuation is 2x what it’s supposed to be and they act that I don’t even know the company but there’s a reason I invested it and there’s a reason I’ll buy the 35-45% dip when it comes and it will come. NOTHING RUNS FOREVER. The saddest part is 50% of those people will be selling at $40-$50 and not buying due to fear when it falls…
