@NewtownAFC@FAWales any particular reason why we had to wait till 8am for this to be announced? Pitch was in that condition yesterday and forecast was no better weather and freezing overnight 🤷♂️🤷♂️
@AJ_Liverpool@WolfOutOfWater@SkySportsPL Don’t be petty now, check some of your set pieces today and then come back to me 😂. Someone always on a keeper looking to block the space for them to come
@scottishgooner9@SkySportsPL Can open a book of scenarios where a player back in etc Harry Kane master of it but that isn’t necessarily a foul every single time. Sa if he wanted to can still come for that ball sure he could use his 6ft4 body to manipulate space to take silva out the way
@BaldysRedArmy@Stebbino442@EliteTier1@SkySportsPL@FA_PGMOL Maybe so if I felt I was being impeded and impacted ability to save the header but fact is neither happened and even Sa didn’t claim foul so ultimately he doesn’t think it made a difference either
@Stebbino442@EliteTier1@BaldysRedArmy@SkySportsPL@FA_PGMOL 😂😂 fun fact is I am a real goalkeeper and played alongside Ben when he first played for Wrexham so although he’s a prem keeper I have got an educated perspective from a gk point of view
@WolfOutOfWater@SkySportsPL So that’s offside? IMO not even a foul, silva backing in but sa should be more than capable of moving him to go take the cross if he wants to but truth is he doesn’t allows to get pinned, silva doesn’t impede at any point his ability to save the header either
@Stebbino442@EliteTier1@BaldysRedArmy@SkySportsPL@FA_PGMOL Hasn’t impacted, sa still sets his feet and triggers to drive hence how he makes attempt to save the ball. Also note he doesn’t react at all just lies on floor after it. If I feel Iv been impeded and impacted my ability to save a shot 💯 ref is getting told by me. He lays there
@scottishgooner9@SkySportsPL Is it a foul though really? Standing your ground as a 5”5 midget and a 6ft4 keeper being pinned by that. If as running for ball and silva blocks then ye foul but standing ground and sa not being savy enough to move him out the way is poor goalkeeping
@rossweaver96@SkySportsPL Mate embarrassing some of comments Iv seen even Ben foster saying it’s a foul. As isn’t impeded and gets time to set for header with a full view. Shouldn’t have even went to Var
@Nin10dude64@SkySportsPL Would never say pundits are ever uneducated as played prem and experienced but single vision when looking at the rules and how them rules affected silva when he wasn’t offside anyway.
@BrookesGary Goal all day Gary, keeper gets pinned as he allow silva to pin him. Time of header he has had time to adjust his feet and set as if he doesn’t he wouldn’t make attempt to save the shot. Even gets off ground to attempt to save it. Can’t do that if not set
The problem with the goal being given is that Kavanagh never watched it back in real time. All he saw was where Bernardo was at the point Stones heads it.
@BenFoster Come on Ben as a gk you know as a gk if your getting pinned and blocked by a midget then your not wanting to go for the ball anyway. Silva nowhere near him when the header is taken and sa then sets
I’m far from a WOLVES fan…
And people will probably say I’m sticking up for the GK union….
BUT…
That John Stones goal should’ve been DISALLOWED.
Bernardo Silva backs into Jose Sa which takes him out of a comfortable ‘set’ position.
@BaldysRedArmy@SkySportsPL@FA_PGMOL zero impact the minute Stones heads the ball, can everyone calm down, learn the rules, you judge it from when Stones heads the ball only
@Mrjamieohara1 If your side by side running and opponent puts there leg in front of yours and you kick there leg whilst in stride and go over that’s not a foul then? Dcl is in control of the space as ahead and it’s an attempt to win ball from behind burn doesn’t touch it and leg impedes striker
