@thaiexpatshow @RichardBarrow Places like NZ are still very difficult to get into. Travel into NZ is reliant on a lottery system and 4000 spaces in MIQ and 25,000 people trying ‘win’ a spot. Not easy at all!

@RichardBarrow Why wouldn’t anyone be able to travel at this stage ? I think most countries are open. Just curious.

@Intrepidmotion @ThaiNewsReports While we there in July, very few local foreigners were wearing masks where as all Thais were. I was really surprised coming from northern Thailand where it’s just what people do. I think we should all play our part to keep safe so that people can get on with their lives.

@ThaiNewsReports This rule change is only useful if 100% of Phuket is vaccinated. Fully vaxed visitors are protected from severe covid...but can still carry it and bring it to where they are going. Therefore, whoever isn't vaxed is in danger.

@RichardBarrow I am visiting Phuket from Chiang Mai, mostly staying at a lovely private villa but I am shocked at at lack of Mask wearing foreigners here. I live in a Chiang Mai and mask wearing is juat what is done.. i really was shocked!

Not so good news coming out of Phuket this evening. Health officials have just announced that two foreigners aged 8 and 9 have tested positive for #COVID19 on their 2nd test (Days 6-7). The children have been sent to hospital and the family to quarantine #Thailand #PhuketSandbox
