PYP Exhibition is all about the process. This year we documented the process visually on a timeline display.

Forces in action. Grade 4’s presenting to Grade 5’s about forces in action in their Rube Goldberg inspired presentations. Students asking questions to their presenters, and recording their students observations and discussions.

Long weekends are just the best. A fun time exploring the sticky waterfalls with friends from old:-)

Translanguaging in the classroom is so powerful to enhance a sense of belonging and achievement in the classroom for EAL students. It gives me a great perspective on what the students know when language is not a barrier.

Happy Earth day! What an amazing collaborative day as the whole school merged together with split senior and junior school classes to utilise the amazing Prem campus for Earth day activities. Ranging from land surveys, litter pick up, creating outside games and more.

Our students rock! They should be so proud of their self management skills, being knowledgeable and inquiring scientists as they conducted fabulous science inquiries. Parent support was awesome!

Super inspired by the idea of merging two pedagogical approaches that underpin my educational philosophies. Concept based leaning and inquiry based learning. I am loving this book!

PYP meetings can be so much fun with enthusiastic teachers keen to learn. This particular meeting was focussed on exploring agency in PE.

@thaiexpatshow @RichardBarrow Places like NZ are still very difficult to get into. Travel into NZ is reliant on a lottery system and 4000 spaces in MIQ and 25,000 people trying ‘win’ a spot. Not easy at all!

@RichardBarrow Why wouldn’t anyone be able to travel at this stage ? I think most countries are open. Just curious.

Immigration has just extended the deadline to apply for the special covid stamp based on being unable to travel. It now expires on 25th January 2022. However, there is a new clause that says officials must be stricter in order to make sure foreigners are not abusing the system.

@Intrepidmotion @ThaiNewsReports While we there in July, very few local foreigners were wearing masks where as all Thais were. I was really surprised coming from northern Thailand where it’s just what people do. I think we should all play our part to keep safe so that people can get on with their lives.

@ThaiNewsReports This rule change is only useful if 100% of Phuket is vaccinated. Fully vaxed visitors are protected from severe covid...but can still carry it and bring it to where they are going. Therefore, whoever isn't vaxed is in danger.

@RichardBarrow I am visiting Phuket from Chiang Mai, mostly staying at a lovely private villa but I am shocked at at lack of Mask wearing foreigners here. I live in a Chiang Mai and mask wearing is juat what is done.. i really was shocked!

Not so good news coming out of Phuket this evening. Health officials have just announced that two foreigners aged 8 and 9 have tested positive for #COVID19 on their 2nd test (Days 6-7). The children have been sent to hospital and the family to quarantine #Thailand #PhuketSandbox
