There is a #CharlotteMYonge connection - she was one of several contributors including #AmelieLeroy to a series of handmade little magazines, edited by #SelinaMoor, daughter of #JohnFrewenMoor, #JohnKeble's erstwhile curate. They were circulated as The Busy Bee (1877-1886).

This weeks #FromTheArchives theme is #SchoolFirsts. Amy Locke was the first Swithunite to be awarded the #CharlotteYonge university scholarship which was set up in 1899 and provided the means for more @StSwithunsGirls to go to university.
