Just saw a Lakers fan say it was a “slap in the face” to see LeBron James take a pay cut for the Sixers. The Lakers repeatedly emphasized building around Luka, not LeBron. Didn’t make any sense for LeBron to take a pay cut when they’re paying other role players 2x as much. LeBron is going all in on title No. 5, and it was the correct move to leave LA.
