You missed the point entirely. It’s not about any of them becoming the first driver. They accepted their role, even Checo mentioned it. But that doesn’t mean they should have been treated the way that team treated them: gaslighting them, putting the blame only on them even when they had no upgrades, no tools, an inexperienced/incompetent side of the garage, throwing them at the wolfs themselves by fueling the media with accusations, etc., etc. That tremendous disparity it’s what I’m talking about and I don’t know why it’s so hard for some of you to grasp.

@ma_fe79 if red bull had been built around checo, gasly, or albon, do you really think any of them would’ve won the 2021 or 2024 title? be serious for once and accept that it’s built around the best driver🤷🏻‍♀️

Listen, it’d be one thing if Checo was the only one speaking up about how Red Bull operates when it comes to second drivers. But there’s already a PATTERN, there was a precedent with Gasly, Albon (even Webber), and then subsequently Lawson, and Tsunoda. All of them had talked about their bad, tough, toxic experience at that team in their own way. The problem is not that everything revolves around the first driver, that happens in other teams as well, it’s the EXTREMES Red Bull goes to make it happen and the way they treat second drivers. Second drivers accept the nature of their role and still get screwed over: ‘a mechanic from my garage is excelling and you’re gonna assign it to the first garage? Ok. Upgrades go to the other car first? Makes sense, no problem. You’re experimenting with my setup to give the data to the other garage? Mmm ok… So now with that experimental setup I crashed and you’re blaming me, what?? And you’re saying this is happening cause I can’t handle the car? Cause I’m too agressive on the radio? Cause I was probably drinking tequila?! And since 2 races ago I was 3 tenths off and now I’m 1 second off I must have mental problems??? And you’re forcing me into therapy while still talking shit about me in the media?! And you’re replacing me after 2, 12, 26 races?’ “But WHY would Red Bull ‘SABOTAGE’ their own drivers?!” Why indeed. Truth is the Constructors Championship has never been a priority, yeah it’s important for the money bla bla, but they would never put it before a driver’s title and I quote Horner: “the prestige is in the drivers' championship. And we would always pick a drivers' championship over a constructors' championship, even though we get not one dollar extra for winning a drivers' world championship” (source in the first comment). I could quote Marko, Horner, dozens of times saying the same thing. And guess what, do you know who’s going through something similar right now? Being ‘sabotaged’? Max Verstappen himself. The directive may have changed but not the culture of the organization, and now Max is on the receiving end of their bullshit. ‘Max is our best sensor but we won’t listen to him anyway’ (they haven’t been listening since Barcelona 2023). ‘Let’s test experimental setups and parts now on the first car, Max doesn’t agree but let’s do it anyway.’ ‘Max crashed because of that? Let’s apologize but still don’t listen to what he says.’ ‘Red Bull is losing all their important staff cause Max doesn’t want to commit to us!’ ‘Max should stay with us, he should be more grateful!’ When their interests aligned, sure, they played house, family, but now they don’t align… So open your eyes, stop being stubborn and insecure; admitting Max had all the tools and resources in his favor, doesn’t make him any less of an exceptional driver. These two things can be true at the same time. See the whole picture, Checo’s words are not about Max. You rather feel attacked by “I sometimes was on par with Max” than focusing on all the shit that’s wrong at Red Bull and that it’s already affecting even the first driver! The common enemy has always been Red Bull. Open your mind and listen for once.

Justo ya había pensando que después de haber manejado tremendo auto inmanejable en RB Checo no sólo se iba sentir cómodo en un auto más balanceado sino que iba a ser como de “Tiene sobreviraje? Esto es NADA” y ahora lo confirma hahah

No estoy segura como está el criterio pero al menos a mí me apareció la segunda después de haber quitado la basura de doblaje con IA y pasarlo a inglés.

Y bueno, sólo para que sepan: la primera es la portada para cuentas en español (que hasta mal escrito está 🤡) y la segunda es la portada para cuentas en inglés...
