@TwBookClub @parthemore_jay I'm not interested in sales, but I admire people with these skills. Furthermore, I'm sure the tools presented in "The Universal Sales Manager" by Jay A. Parthemore can be extrapolated to other jobs. And the personal anecdotes make it more relatable than general advice. Congrats.

@TwBookClub @RichardMalish "Longevity for the Lazy" by Richard Malish adds depth to the longevity discussion with topics like transhumanism and disease warfare. I'm not the target audience because generalized health advice often lacks the nuance required for people coping with chronic illness. Congrats!

@TwBookClub Spies and erotica (spies and spice 😜) are a winning combo, as the James Bond novels and movies have proven. I admit I don't know much about the Chinese Communist Revolution, and "Red Spy in Harbin" by Mark Oulton seems like an enticing way to learn more. Congratulations.

@TwBookClub @thecoloroftears Books like "The Color of Their Tears" by Dr. Brian Sims are not only poignant but also remind us that human feelings are universal, and what binds us is way stronger than what separates us, which is a crucial message in this day and age. Also, I love short stories. Congrats!

@TwBookClub @MostynLiz The fact that there's an Art Investigation Unit is fascinating. And that no one remembers anything from the night of the murder? Intriguing! The exceptional character development, particularly of female characters, makes The Arc of Blood by Elizabeth Mostyn exceptional. Congrats.

@TwBookClub It's crucial to understand that moral values can be culture-dependent to achieve greater harmony and a less divisive society. I think a book like "Kompaso" by Ingrid Asturias and Xander Guurink can be very helpful both for young readers and adults. Congratulations.

@TwBookClub I love how Randy Rauh uses the often forgotten epistolary genre to showcase how satisfying and challenging marriage can be in A Letter Unwritten: Two Women, One Man, and the Words That Changed Everything. Basing it on two real women in his life adds depth to it. Congrats!

@TwBookClub @AMPublishersUSA I like the premise of "Hood 2 Good" by Preston Nelson. It's important to explore what it's like to make good choices when life has dealt you a hard set of cards, but not if it means disrespecting others, unless it was congruent with the plot somehow. It's a great premise, though.

@TwBookClub Health advice is not one-size-fits-all. The reviewer mentioned the exclusion of the LGBT+ community in "Health & Well-Being Made Easy" by Toby Payne, which is worrisome. I have a chronic illness, another case in which popular wellness advice could backfire. I'll skip this book.

@TwBookClub @CharlesSacchett @OutskirtsPress The reviewer captured me when they compared "It's All Good: Times and Events I'd Never Want to Change" by Charles Sacchetti with The Wonder Years! The traditions and moments that seem minuscule at the time are a huge part of what makes us who we are. It seems like a lovely book.
