The moringa tree, known as the “miracle tree”, is one of the most nutrient-dense plants on the planet and is prized for its healing qualities. It also has another huge benefit, according to new research: it’s excellent at removing microplastics from water. cnn.it/4tL6KDG

Breaking News‼️ Ethiopian Airlines is buying out Egyptian Airways. According my sources, Ethiopia is quietly buying out all the airports in Egypt as part of a bold strategic move to deepen economic ties between the two nations capitalize on Egypts ongoing privatization push driven by IMF requirements and position Ethiopian Airlines already one of Africas strongest carriers as a dominant force in North East African aviation. With Egypt offering concessions on key hubs like Hurghada Sharm El Sheikh Luxor and Sphinx International Airport through public private partnerships rather than outright sales Ethiopian airlines and investors could secure long term management and development rights injecting capital operational expertise and tourism synergies that benefit both countries while helping Cairo meet its divestment targets and ease debt pressures. Such a takeover would not only expand Ethiopias regional influence and generate substantial revenue streams from Egypts lucrative tourism sector but also foster much needed cooperation amid historical Nile water disputes turning potential rivalry into shared prosperity through integrated air connectivity joint infrastructure upgrades and strengthened people to people links across the Horn of Africa and beyond. What is your thoughts?

Some are asking why I wrote my appeal to peace in Amharic. I chose Amharic as it is the primary working language of Ethiopia and widely understood. Including all five working languages - Tigrigna, Amharic, Afaan Oromo, Somali, and Afar - would be beneficial. Here you go… 🕊️" Waraanni bu’aan isaa du’a, badii, buqqa’insaafi beela qofa! Furmaanni siyaasaa yoomiyyuu jira. Goonni dhugaan nagaa filata. Nagaadhaaf carraa haa kenninu! 🕊️ Dagaalku waxa laga dhaxlaa oo kaliya dhimasho, burbur, barakac iyo macaluul! Xal siyaasadeed mar walba waa uu jiraa. Geesiyaasha dhabta ahi waxay doortaan nabadda. Aan fursad siinno nabadda! 🕊️ Carbi dubuk rabaay, finqaay, dufuu kee qululu bahta! Umman way siyaasâ fidga tan. For the past few years, I have been questioning why Abiy has continued investing heavily in luxury resorts while the country faces so many urgent priorities. Even after their completion, these resorts have reportedly failed to attract sufficient tourists, to the extent that they struggle to cover their own operating costs. What is even more puzzling is that most of these resorts were said to be accessible only with permission from the Prime Minister’s Office. That level of restriction raises legitimate questions about their intended purpose. Recent revelations surrounding the so-called “Epstein files” may shed some light on the mystery surrounding these resorts. It is known that some of the foreign guests who frequented Abiy’s resorts were wealthy and powerful individuals from the United Arab Emirates. One prominent Emirati figure, DP World CEO Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, who reportedly resigned following links to the Epstein scandal, is said to have made frequent trips to Ethiopia and stayed at these properties. Beyond strategic interests in the Horn of Africa, including ambitions related to port access, it is reasonable to ask whether there were additional motives behind these visits. What activities took place during stays at these remote and highly restricted resorts? Reports suggest that when certain Emirati guests were present, no other visitors, not even Ethiopian ministers, were permitted to stay. Within Ethiopian politico-military and business circles, there have been numerous rumors and allegations about what may have transpired at these locations. While rumors alone are not evidence, the combination of secrecy, restricted access, and high-profile foreign visitors warrants careful scrutiny. I urge serious journalists and independent investigators to examine this matter thoroughly and transparently.
