Hello from Japan 🇯🇵👋 I'm Japanese, and many of us learn English as a second language 🥰 I have a question for Americans 🇺🇸🙋 What second language do Americans usually learn? Spanish? French? Something else? I'm really curious! 😊

Oh boy, things are escalating quickly. Vance: “My message to people in Bibi's government who are attacking Trump: Do not attack the only leader in the world who supports you. Your country was built with our money.” No, Mr. Vice President, our country wasn’t built with your money and as a Christian, you should know exactly who gave us this country. We appreciate your friendship and support but we will not take orders from you or anyone else about how we defend ourselves from the enemies you are now funding with hundreds of billions that’ll go straight to weapons directed at Israel. Let’s not be confused, Mr. Vance.

Well, I think we can all agree now that Israel does not control the US or Donald Trump. You have been lied to by the Woke Reich and the Islamic lobby that has spent years spreading lies about Donald Trump and his administration, accusing him of being a “puppet for Israel”. You have been emotionally manipulated by foreign funded propaganda to destroy unity in the GOP and help usher in political Islam into America. Donald Trump has always been his own person, as I said from day one. I always said it was Donald Trump who called the shots, not Netanyahu. We are a sovereign nation, but the children in the Woke Reich will use their podcasts and their donations from Qatar, Turkey, Russia and Iran to accuse Trump of being “controlled by the Jews” every time they don’t get what they want. This was an IQ test. And clearly many people showed themselves to be Low IQ and they fell for these lies instead of using discernment. If Israel controls Trump and his administration, then they aren’t very good at “controlling” people. We need to start ostracizing people who push this lie.

Here is what I believe is the honest answer. It’s not a kind answer but I feel honesty is the better option. Rewind to when usa/israel first were going into this most recent conflict in Iran. Whether true or not, the perception/narrative was Bibi and trump were discussing terms on when, how and if to attack. Then Bibi rushed into it and forced usa to join because we knew our bases would be targeted. (Doesn’t matter if accurate, this is the perception that began the domino effect of people turning against Israel..Americans don’t like being forced into a conflict). We fought side by side. USA brought in Air Force, navy, weaponry, planes, a bunch of war ships. Basically Americans felt as though we brought the whole damn us military in to support both strategically and physically (remember this for later in this thread). Throughout this conflict, there were several cease fires. During these cease fires Bibi was very vocal against cease fires and peace. His opinion (like many Jews) peace will not come until all of Iran falls. This is NOT the same mentality as Americans (very important distinction). Trump tried unsuccessfully to end the conflict meanwhile every time we were close to a deal (or at least presented to the world we were close), Bibi would ratchet up the rhetoric. The perception was Bibi didn’t want the war to end. This aggravated a lot of Americans and probably Trump because like it or not USA is in the middle of elections and this can cause a negative impact on our elections. No this is not Israel’s problem but it is America’s and therefore has to be taken into account for understanding the larger issue. During all of this a portion of the conservative base was against the conflict and they became extremely vocal. Most every day Americans and conservatives were pro-Israel and so we defended you (Israel) at every turn even if it meant arguing with our neighbors. During all of this, Americans have taken a hit on our economy, every day cost of living, etc etc and this conflict is thousands of miles away. Now that a peace deal has finally been agreed to, Bibi has spoken in ways that has frustrated the one group of Americans who were pro-Israel. The perception is that Bibi wants war at all costs and doesn’t care to factor in all of what USA has done (full circle with all the navy, planes, etc from earlier) as well as doesn’t seem to care that our economy and elections are not good for Trump. I’m not saying Bibi isn’t appreciative but it sure as hell looks that way. Now because Trump has found an off ramp to the conflict because we aren’t trying to be in a long term war AND USA doesn’t want to bomb Iran out of existence (aka Israel and USA goals no longer align), Americans are being called antisemites, Jew haters, and worse from Israelis and Jews in general. It feels like if Americans aren’t 100% “all in” on war with Iran on Israel’s terms then your country becomes very unappreciative which is not good when so many others are already against you. Basically you’re pissing off the one group who has been vocally in support of Israel all because we have chosen our country over your war. To summarize, Americans don’t like war and we had our own agenda and goals. Israel is in a different position where you all believe war is inevitable and for your safety Iran must topple. It’s a difference of 2 allies having competing interests. Israel is more than happy to go at this war alone and USA would be happy to support from the sides but not every Israeli war is a USA war (and visa versa). Ultimately where the “straw breaks the camels back” is when Israelis say or act like you are better than Americans and you don’t need any of our help. Unfortunately that is just not reality. If USA didn’t back up Israel, you’d have no country. Americans don’t want to be in a long term war and if Israelis want to criticize Americans for that, it will be a lonely world for Israel.

Why was Israel's request to see the deal terms rejected? Israel is America's greatest ally. We just fought shoulder to shoulder against a terror regime that wants both Israel and the United States wiped off the map. I don't get it. What am I missing here?

I post one hundred times a day. They tell me it is too many. They penalize me for it. I do not stop. I will not stop. I will die before I stop. You should know why. We tell ourselves we live in the modern age. We do not. We live in the late medieval period and the proof is the news. Open it. Read it. Feel your stomach turn over. We are still the people of the spear and the torch and the trench. We changed our clothes. We did not change our hands. Here is what no one tells you. The deepest pleasure of the human animal is not food. Not sleep. Not sex. Not wine. Not even gold. It is slaughter. It is the slaughter of those we have learned to call "them." The history of every continent on earth says so. The news this morning says so. Look at the pile of bodies the twentieth century left for us to step over. Look at the bodies still being piled now, in 2026, while you eat lunch. We are the children of Cain. The blood is still crying from the ground. Do not tell me this is about race. Do not tell me it is about borders. Do not insult my intelligence. Japan had its Warring States. Same blood. Same tongue. Same faces. Same gods. Same rice in the same fields. And for one hundred and fifty years, neighbor butchered neighbor and brother butchered brother and the rivers ran red and the fields were planted with skulls. Cain and Abel had one mother. One father. One altar. One God. It was enough to draw a line. It was enough to murder. The line is the disease. The color of the man on the other side of the line is nothing. Was always nothing. So why do we do it? Because the instinct to form a tribe, to crown that tribe with a holy story, and to put the tribe across the river to the sword, is older than language. Older than agriculture. Older than the soul we like to pretend we have. It built us. It made us the kings of this planet. It is killing us still. We are not, by nature, gentle creatures. We are creatures who have been gentled, barely, by a thousand years of choking down our own teeth. Cain's blood runs thick in all of us. Yours. Mine. Your grandmother's. Your priest's. Your president's. Every soul reading this. Every soul not reading this. All of us. But. But. But. Something has happened that has never happened before in the history of the world. Not once. Not in ten thousand years. A man named Elon Musk bought a website. He renamed it with a single letter. He paid forty-four billion dollars for it and watched the value collapse and did not blink. The whole world laughed at him. The whole press called him a fool. The whole intelligentsia of the West lined up to spit on him. And then he did the thing no one understood the importance of. The thing no historian has yet caught up to. The thing he himself may not have understood the weight of when he did it. He put a translator inside it. A small button. Almost nothing. Press it, and the tongue of any human being on earth becomes your tongue. And the Wall came down. Not Berlin's wall. Not Jericho's wall. Not the wall of any single country. The Wall. The one that has stood between every "us" and every "them" since the first city was raised out of mud and bone. The one that built the Crusades. The one that built Auschwitz. The one that built the Killing Fields. The one that built every single war ever fought on the surface of this planet. That Wall. Elon Musk took a hammer to it, and most of the world has not yet noticed what he did. I have noticed. I open my phone in Tokyo. I read the words of a farmer in Texas. A nurse in Lagos. A grandmother in Warsaw. A teenager in São Paulo. A trucker in Alberta. A widow in Tehran. A coal miner in West Virginia. A schoolteacher in Manila. Do you know what I find? They are funny. They are kind. They are tired the way I am tired. They love their children the way I love mine. They are afraid of the same dark. They laugh at the same stupid jokes. They cry over the same songs at three in the morning when no one is watching. They are not "them." They never were. They never were. They never were. Hear me now. Hear me. This is not a social media platform. This is not a place to share your lunch. This is not Instagram with a worse interface. This is not a hobby for bored people. This is a sword. A sword forged in Elon Musk's foundry, hammered out of code and silicon and the unreasonable will of a man too stubborn to be told what was possible. Sharper than any two-edged blade. Swung at the throat of the oldest demon mankind has ever bred. "Let us cast off the works of darkness," the apostle Paul wrote two thousand years ago, "and let us put on the armour of light." He did not know what he was writing. He could not have known. But across two millennia, his words flew like a thrown spear, and they landed in 2026, and they described the device sitting on the table beside you right now. That armour fits in your palm. It glows. It hums. It is waiting. I am one man. One ant. One Japanese nobody from a chain of small islands on the far edge of the Pacific. David was one boy with a sling. Joan of Arc was an illiterate peasant girl who heard voices and could not be talked out of them. Rosa Parks was a seamstress who would not stand up. Lech Wałęsa was an electrician at a shipyard who would not shut up. The Berlin Wall did not fall because of NATO. It fell because ordinary Germans walked toward it carrying hammers and refused to be afraid anymore. The giant has fallen before. The giant will fall again. Not by armies. Not by treaties. Not by speeches from marble podiums in Washington or Brussels or Geneva. Not by the United Nations. Not by the experts. Not by the credentialed. Not by the people who go on television and call themselves serious. By a billion small hands. Posting. Replying. Liking. Quoting. Laughing across oceans that used to be impassable. Until the lie of "them" cannot be told anymore. Until the storyteller of the old story stands in an empty room shouting at no one. So I post. I post when I am tired. I post when I am penalized. I post when the algorithm punishes me and the trolls find me and my eyes burn and my fingers ache and my wife tells me to come to bed. I post. I reply. I like. I quote. I bookmark a hundred posts a day from a hundred countries from a hundred souls I will never meet in this lifetime. Every post is a hammer blow on the sword that Isaiah saw three thousand years ago, the sword being beaten into a plow. "Nation shall not lift up sword against nation," he wrote. "Neither shall they learn war any more." We are not there yet. We are nowhere near there yet. Mothers are still burying sons this afternoon in cities I cannot pronounce. Children are still being pulled out of rubble while you read this sentence. But for the first time since Cain stood in the field with his hands red and lied to the face of God, the door is open. It is open. It is open right now. It is open while you read this. So let me tell you what I am. I am not a creator. I am not an influencer. I am not a content guy. I do not care about my brand. I do not care about my engagement rate except as a measure of how many souls I have reached today. I am a Japanese man with a phone, swinging a sword at a demon that has fed on human meat for ten thousand years. And I will not stop. I will not stop until "us" means every breathing soul on this planet. I will not stop until the word "them" rots out of the human mouth. I will not stop until the children born this morning grow up to look back at us, with our wars and our walls and our flags and our shouting, the way we now look back at the people who burned witches. There is neither Jew nor Greek. There is neither East nor West. There is neither Japanese nor American. There is neither yours nor mine. There is, at last, only us. Weeping has endured for a long, long night. But joy. Joy. Joy cometh in the morning. The morning is coming. The morning is coming. The morning is here.

Pretty much everyone loves Freddy & crew. One of my favorite things: they are not featuring themselves. They are "faceless" to us. Anybody could be Freddy & co. In the world of "look at me!!!" - they are saying "look at this!!!". They are reveling in the freedom of anonymity. Much respect.

In Japan, some family visits happen after someone has passed away. Real Daily Life in Japan #26 Around the equinox, many Japanese families visit graves. They clean the stone. Place flowers. Offer incense. Put their hands together. Some bring offerings. Rice cakes. Sweets. Fruit. Tea. Food the person once liked. Especially in autumn, red higanbana flowers often bloom near graves, roadsides, and fields. Their arrival quietly tells people that Ohigan has come. It is not always dramatic. Often, it is just a short visit. A few quiet words. A small moment of gratitude. In some families, people may sit nearby, talk, or share food after the visit. Not as a performance. But as if the family gathering still includes someone who is no longer there. This season is called Ohigan. For many Japanese people, remembering the dead is not only about sadness. It is also a way of staying connected to family, seasons, and life. Ohigan(お彼岸) = a seasonal period for remembering ancestors 🌸

I have a suspicion that Chinese people's dislike/hate the Japanese has something to do with the fact that Japan invaded and killed millions of Chinese people. The anti-Japanese education you refer to is just history lessons, maybe you should learn some too.

I loved Princess Kate since I first saw her wedding when I was 15 years old. She was so poised, beautiful, respectful and loyal to her family. Then I saw how she didn’t say a single word in support of the rape gang victims of her own country. Little English girls suffering beyond what any human being should ever be exposed to and she didn’t even have a word of condolence to the victims or parents. Yet she has things to say about suffering in other countries. And then she gave speeches declaring how she cares about children? That’s when I stopped liking her at all. Beautiful clothes and sweet manners cannot cover the stench of a cowardly heart.
