With reverse gate options on super b’s now I don’t see the need for an overpriced tender when you don’t need to move trailers

@LowBoomLowDrift How would a person pull a semi up to this unit ? I feel you almost need a seed tender if using this seeder ?

The conveyor or auger on seeders should have auto fold/unfold like a sprayer. Push a button in the tractor. By the time you walk back it is unfolded to the calibrated position for your truck. Push a button on the cart. It’s folded up by the time you get back to tractor.

@BDuchek @alex__hinz On the auger side we only have enough cord to reach the electrical along the bins

@BDuchek @alex__hinz @flamangroup We’ve got a couple 100 ft lengths that we connect when needed. They stay tied up along the bins.

@alex__hinz @BDuchek 30 hp 3 phase with 10 hp to run mover. Had @flamangroup build for us. 12x39 meridian keeps up to wide open unloads pretty easily.

@BDuchek Saw a guy who had a gas motor just for the mover and then had an electric motor for the actual flighting. Way less fussing, instant power. Wild be great if you had plugs around bin sites and not direct wired fans. Liked that idea

@rgstone1 We have a set of inline openers on one of our hawks and hate them, can’t wait to change them out but they’re wearing too good 😂. Traditional hawk knives on the others 👌. We had a P680 demo this spring with inline and they were even worse, outside runs plugged on turns easily

Anyone using these. Trying one row. Seems like it’s pulls a bit harder (chain takes longer to tighten) but the separation is more real than Quebec’s

@BDuchek We ran fert through micro bin when not using granular, just wash the hell out of everything when finished for the season and all good. The rear boom wasn't an issue but we had the joystick option on one unit and that made it really slick. 20 mt capacity is nice for super U blend

What can you guys tell me about a 9620 Salford fertilizer spreader. Looking at a used 1. Currently have a NewLeader spin spreader that holds 8 tonne of sulphur. Looking mainly for something with more capacity. How fast can a guy spread with a 9620 Salford? #AgTwitter

@BDuchek We had a couple 9620 salfords and just upgraded to a self propelled. They're good units, simple and accurate but limited by ground speed in your tractor 10-12 mph tops. They empty front to back so they start to bounce with no hitch weight once front is empty.

@valleyfield2008 @BDuchek @ChuckWeinknecht We've got a few of them on the farm. They're great engines, lots of power and great mileage. If you don't need a 3/4 ton they're an awesome farm truck

@BDuchek @ChuckWeinknecht Since dodge eliminated the eco diesel and v8gas engine. If the hurricane wasn’t a twin turbo i probably go that route. probably will take a look at the mini duramax pretty hard for my next truck.

Anyone have any feedback from the 3L duramax?

@valleyfield2008 It rained on and off here all day yesterday, another tenth or 2 so there was no drying. Harvest rains are annoying but building up for nest year. How much rain did you get there

@mac_acres I had same hope yesterday morning till sun went away in mid morning. Glad I took off lots of 5 percent canola to blend of this next stuff.

Harvest weather these days. Sun is finally out. Hopefully later today we can take some tough canola off. 😂

@Plantmore1 @ctvregina @SaskTel I live 5 miles from a large center on a highway, can see towers north and south of me and live in a world of SOS, so frustrating. Only way I get service is if I stand 2 ft from a booster. If I leave a building my phone is silent until I get home at hook up to Starlink wifi

@ctvregina @SaskTel 5G is a complete failure for rural areas. You are so so wrong on this. We have lost service all over where it’s used to be good. Major major mistake. @ctvregina let’s talk about this instead. Huge step backwards.

@Plantmore1 Bought one a couple weeks ago from Neeralta. Didn't know anyone who owns one so hoping they're well built, have some neat features. Had a Brandt for years and it was time to upgrade. I imagine you paid a lot less in '21

Have a brand new extractor like this I would sell if anyone is looking. New in 21 when the drought really kicked in, never used. Shedded. I’m sure my cost is less than today’s.
