@macaron_luver@cecyliastalina Actually incredibly stupid point as the inverse is true, encouraging sex without the intent purpose of procreation is how we go to this point currently.
“men should have sex with their girlfriends instead of watching porn!!” they shouldn’t be doing either of those things actually. find God. control yourselves.
@macaron_luver@Epictetus50 Endless compassion doesn’t convict proud and sinful hearts. You don’t like shame because you have been indoctrinated with this modern idea that tells you everything is about endless self love. Scripture tells us that is the true pride.
Modern “Christians” want to convince you that it’s holy for a woman who slept around to claim repentance and then demand that no one cares about sexual purity. Then they wonder why men are avoiding churches and marriage altogether.
Repentant women demand NOTHING!@katherineortho
@Adriana19Flower@Epictetus50 There absolutely is reason to avoid evil without shame, especially as christians in a shameless world. regardless, internet mobs are notoriously filthy and many of the comments ive seen including yours are intensely cruel and lacking compassion
@macaron_luver@Epictetus50 Actually, shame is good. It’s also biblical to instill shame on others. It’s what prevents people from doing what is wrong. Without shame there’s no reason to avoid evil.
@Epictetus50@Adriana19Flower St Paul persecuted Christians before converting and repenting. The idea that God cannot use those with a flawed past is wrong. even so, yes we must repent for Christ to start a good work in us.
@Adriana19Flower@macaron_luver I am certainly NOT defending her. Just the opposite. Her arrogance is overwhelming. The idea that someone of her history is preaching, teaching, and lecturing anyone, especially men, is abhorrent to God and all Christians.
@Adriana19Flower@Epictetus50 idc when it was its still not respectable to shame and disperse scandalizing images and claims on the internet. this is between her and God if true. in everything do unto others as you would have them do to you.
@macaron_luver@Epictetus50 It wasn’t from a while back. You just keep trying to add ways to minimize what she did, this is recent. I don’t care about her trash article. She’s a fraud regardless.
@Epictetus50@Adriana19Flower you said erased. this is the function of forgiveness. as obedient children we should not be conformed to the passions of our former ignorance, but we should rejoice in our salvation, since we have been born again of imperishable seed. the word of the Lord remains forever.
@Adriana19Flower@macaron_luver There is a difference between forgiveness and consequences. The former is vertical and the latter is horizontal. King David was forgiven, but he still suffered the consequences, including the death of a child and civil war.
@Adriana19Flower@Epictetus50 its all word of mouth. calling me lukewarm, im a stranger. if any of its true it was from a while back, she may hv confessed this. i cant believe youre justifying bringing this up due to disagreement with an article. i hope your sin is never exposed & ur graced instead. peace
@macaron_luver@Epictetus50 It is her. It’s been confirmed.
Grace Grace Grace is all you lukewarm believers can say. Rebuke is also biblical, she needs rebuke. Rebuke rebuke rebuke.
@Adriana19Flower@Epictetus50 you have no idea if thats even her. and even if it was, why on earth would you spread it around and capitalize on it as some arbiter of holiness?? have some grace and keep from scandalizing a person you dont even know maybe.
@macaron_luver@Epictetus50 Ummm I’ve seen the evidence. She sent sexually provocative pictures to men as she actively goes to an Orthodox Church and posts online about how sanctimonious she is.
@Adriana19Flower@Epictetus50 youre flouncing about bashing another woman for internet points with no hard evidence of anything shes done. this holier than thou attitude + unforgiving spirit is unchrist-like. sexual purity is virtuous and important, but what makes you the judge? sanctimonious and uncharitable
@Epictetus50@Adriana19Flower This is an AntiChrist statement. if they repent, theyre pure in the eyes of Father. If God Himself forgives, why can't you? "And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God."
@macaron_luver@LW1307@DueinMed@zulu_brah So it’s not transactional when women expect higher earning partners to provide for them? That seems like a pretty self-serving and one sided interpretation
@volkspopuli@LW1307@DueinMed@zulu_brah its obviously not ideal and fornication is sinful. however, this transactional mindset is fully at odds with the institution of marriage and just as shameful. marrying a nonvirgin is not necessary by any means, no one is forcing you to. youre delusional and sanctimonious.
If she’s not bringing her hymen, I’m not bringing my money. I will not pay for what others fucked for free.
The idea that a non virgin bride isn’t modernizing the sacred covenant is a desecration of sacredness.
Why else in Exodus did only the virgin bride command a bride price?
@volkspopuli@LW1307@DueinMed@zulu_brah you do not modernize the sacred covenant that is marriage. if you agree to marry a nonvirgin, intend to be a faithful husband to the best of your ability or do not marry her, because it is in a way null as you went into it without full agreement to do what youre supposed to.
@volkspopuli@LW1307@DueinMed@zulu_brah dont marry a nonvirgin woman if you will mistreat her. all have sinned and fallen short. in marriage, whether virgin or not, women must submit to their husbands, and husbands must provide for their wives. the union ordained by God should reflect unconditional love and surrender
@volkspopuli@LW1307@DueinMed@zulu_brah with this logic, if a virgin woman marries a nonvirgin man, she shouldnt put out as much. NO! when we marry, we vow to wed for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and health, to love and to cherish, till death. We must offer 100% of ourselves, or not marry.
@macaron_luver@DueinMed@zulu_brah Thanks, but I'll do what is right with God and remain celibate unless and until He provides me a proper (virginal) bride.
I'll be okay.
Don't worry about me.
@LW1307@DueinMed@zulu_brah i didnt imply that they were equivalent. i think in your case an equivalent would be a woman who was in an actually similar situation to you...
@macaron_luver@DueinMed@zulu_brah I'm not going to apologize for having had sex with my wife.
My having had sex with my wife does not compare with a woman who is "not a virgin" by virtue of having been with 20-30 men in her university years.
Thanks.
@LW1307@DueinMed@zulu_brah it isnt feminist? the biggest issue men had with the article was the unreasonable expectations women have for men. it appears you may also hv expectations that do not align with what you bring to the table in terms of your spiritual journey as well. still, thats your prerogative.
I don't see the world that way, that's just feminist egalitarianism, "marry somebody of equal bargaining power who is exactly on your level, age appropriate, the same money, the same career, the same..."
At that point I'm going to have to marry a man. If I want to marry my true equal I would have to become gay and marry a man, and that doesn't interest me.
I'm not going to marry a female version of myself, because I wouldn't be able to get along with her.
I want to marry a woman who is complementary to me, not "the mirror image of me, but female."
@LW1307@DueinMed@zulu_brah you can obv have that criteria, but i think its most sensible and common for both men and women to expect + be content with marrying within their class & looks league, and by extension their progress/past in their spiritual journey
Well see here is how it is, I don't care if a woman has money or is tall (to a point, my type is about 5'6 to 5'8 for a woman). She can have zero dollars. I have multiple millions of dollars. I don't need her to have any money.
I expect and insist on her being a virgin. I am not a virgin. I am also not a player or pick-up artist or guy running game. I am simply not a virgin. I won't disclose my number because it is only the business of myself, my father, God, and any woman contemplating marrying me.
Marrying a virgin is extremely important to me.
If marrying a virgin is more important to her than marrying a rich man, she can marry a broke starry-eyed 20-22 year old dreamer who has ambitions and bet on his potential.
Everybody has criteria, things that matter a lot to them, in what they are looking for with a possible spouse.
Virginity is in the top three on my list. Money, degrees, career, accomplishments, those don't even make the list I have.
