He "pleads not guilty" and is running a special defence of consent. Let that sink in. A grown man more than three times her age allegedly attacks a teenager in Victoria Park and his lawyers are already preparing to argue she consented? This is the kind of case that makes you furious. Where is the outrage? Where are the questions about how this happened in the first place? The victim was just 16. A child. And he is now forcing her to go to Trial next year.

This has to be the watershed moment for a full investigation on the SFA. With VAR and every possible angle in front of them, they still ruled no foul. That’s not human error, that’s cheating at best. You can accept a referee getting it wrong in real time. You cannot accept a room full of officials reviewing it for minutes and deciding there’s nothing there. Scottish football deserves better than this. Every club should be demanding answers. As we all know corruption is happening.
