@NickyAACampbell UK military has a history of protecting borders from illegal imigrants (IIs) In Hong Kong UK military lead that work and returned migrants to China with no issues. Their real problem today is not enough military capacity to do that anyway.

@BBCNews That might be embarrassing for the TUC. Ministers are only on one side - their own!

@Sadlybrokeboy @GlobeSentinels @scan_sky I guess that's shrinkflation. Smaller show and fewer aircraft than in the past but higher prices. All the while they sell out why wouldn't they squeeze the average punter. Not too interested in regulars. Just like any other business really to maximise income.

@GlobeSentinels @scan_sky 100% I think they’re making a big mistake with these changes, closing parts of green car park, changes to friat and now charging for parking is all piling on people who have been squeezed so much as it is!

@MingleDandy @catherinemep @LibDems @DwrCymru not for profit but they are very much for a sickening executive wage bill. Why is the CEO paid £1M+ when he delivers this level of performance. An intern on £20k can see what is wrong. Blinkered by their snouts in trough with no responsibility is part of the problem

@catherinemep @LibDems The company that has the most recorded sewage spills is Welsh Water which is run on a ‘not for profit’ basis. Public owned Scottish Water and N. Ireland Water are saved from embarrassment by a lack of CSO monitoring.

@ianmayo @NavyLookout It may be the case that that is not exactly true but we will never know! Hey but you can always rely on the French.

@macavity_m @NavyLookout Well, we've maintained it every day since it started, in 1969. As defence's #1 priority I don't think we need to worry

@philips_uk Hi. I am finding it impossible to order from your website. Is there a problem or don't you want direct sales?

Yesterday, @CSACatapult unveiled a £1.6m facility dedicated to accelerating electrification nationwide. Opened by Secretary of State for Wales, @DavidTCDavies, this facility promises breakthroughs in #semiconductor development through novel 3D printing techniques. Unscroll 👇

Hey @DavidTCDavies . Wish you had seen my tweet before providing vague and unsubstantiated info about the early leisure centre closures. @MonmouthshireCC produced BS evidence to try to convince folk. Afternoon closure would have effected fewer folk.
Mike Dodds@macavity_m

@monbeacon I would suggest researching facts @monbeacon before republishing BS from @MonmouthshireCC to justify their crass proposals. Last night I had 16 local people at Monmouth playing badminton until 2200. Fact.

Tonight I told journalists that this Budget puts more money in the pockets of millions of people and shows that the UK Conservative Government continues to deliver for people across #Wales. Cutting National Insurance and freezing fuel duty will help families.

@maryannbwales @WelshGovernment And leisure centres to close early then? Bizarrely at times when hardworking people have their leisure time - evenings and weekends. That's certainly helping the working folk. What about closing say between 10am-2pm to save even more £?

We published our budget today, going to council next Thursday. I am proud that despite the challenging issues we met our priorities. Education was always at the top. With a little help from @WelshGovernment and reshaping our budget, we listened to you and delivered on our promise

@monbeacon @MonmouthshireCC PS Perhaps you could do an article on how a longstanding (30+ years) local badminton club is forced to stop playing due to the @monbeacon publishing misleading statistics. Or doesn't that fit with your cosy relationship with the council?

@southwalesargus Not quite sure @southwalesargus why you swallow this BS from @MonmouthshireCC. On Thursday evenings my badminton club has more than 16 local people playing with only a few staff and we are paying nearly £30 an hour. Message - check facts before printing.

@MonmouthshireCC Thank you. I understand that Cllr Anne Webb had to intervene to get the bags to the Hall and I have just picked some up. Can I ask that you give some thought as to how reusable bags will work around here. EG we have many communal waste areas and empty bags will just blow around

@macavity_m Hi Mike, sorry we missed your orginal tweet. I've had confirmation Llandogo Village Hall had delivery of bags today. We are rolling out reusable/polyprop bags but will still provide access to single use plastic bags for areas that have not yet received their reusable bags.

Hey @MonmouthshireCC. Seems to be a lack of red and purple recycling bags around the Llandogo area. Rumour is you are going to change the system - that appears to work well - but what is the plan for the interim. Your people won't take recycling in a black bag so what do we do??
