MISSION COMPLETE!!! WE ARE BACK!!!

I haven’t posted during the season but now it has ended, I feel I should make some sort of personal comment.  I am extremely proud to be the manager of @BTFCWomen , playing in the @FAWNL in Tier 3, despite the difficult season we have had.  1/

Not many people, players or staff, have the honour and opportunity to play or be involved at that level of football and I have read many posts ridiculing and criticising myself, the club and other individuals. 2/

Many of these comments have come from people who would do anything to be involved at this level of football and to criticise others is a sad indictment as to their understanding of the club’s situation. 3/

The people who matter, in other words those involved within the game, have been extremely supportive of everyone and it has been a pleasure playing against all teams and players In our Division this season. 4/

I must also give my highest praise and respect to the players who have represented the club so amazingly this season.  They have continued to train and work hard for no remuneration and their resilience in a difficult season has been inspirational. 5/

It would have been easy to take the easy way out but playing every game, when forfeiting games would have been an option, is an achievement in Itself. Next season, we will go again, with an intention to be more competitive and a promise to work as hard as we can. 6/

Thank you to everyone who has supported and defended us and we look forward to better times ahead. 7/7
