@HenryBushnell The whole thing is bad. Everyone who I know who has a Cat 1 ticket is stuck in a corner or in the nosebleeds. The really good Cat 1 locations are obviously reserved for the hospitality tickets. Bait and switch tactics.

FIFA has actually now listed some "Front Category 1" seats for *more than* double the price of Cat 1 tickets. Examples here from knockout games in Philly ($2,265, up from $905) and Bay Area ($1,915, up from $765). Currently over 2,000 tickets available for USMNT-Paraguay, btw

FIFA will use "variable pricing," AKA dynamic pricing, for World Cup tickets. Cheapest group-stage seats start at $60. Most expensive ticket to the final starts at $6,730. And all of that will probably change based on demand. News: nytimes.com/athletic/65939…

@t_blom As others have said, it’s easier to just get a US license. I passed my 15 min test in CA by not crashing into anything. It’s nothing like the UK.

I'm trying to get car insurance in the US, but I only have UK driving licence. The insurer is asking for a “Letter of Experience” or a “10 Year Loss History”. Has anyone ever successfully got that from the DVLA in the UK?
