The stupidity to call Gyökeres the worst signing of th summer when Liam Delap literally exists. Gyökeres literally had the same number of goals as Ekitiké and just needs 1 to match the best ever return by an Arsenal striker in all comps under Arteta. I don't even think y'all love Arsenal, you just love agendas. It's in every fanbase now. The putrid lot spreading their disease to as many in the fanbase as possible.
.@Acidicto

- You made the worst signing of the signing (🇸🇪) - Your star attacker (🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿) is underperforming significantly - Your captain has missed most of the season - You have no high-performing attackers No manager (ever?) is able to walk the PL under these circumstances bar Arteta

Arsenal have scored 106 goals this season in all competitions. Less than 30% of those goals, were from “set pieces” 52% of the set piece goals (15% of the 106) have been from corners. This means that SEVENTY ONE PERCENT (71%) of Arsenal’s 106 goals have been from open play. Yet apparently we’ve been reliant on corners this season… Agenda gonna agend I guess 🤷🏼‍♂️

Arteta has evolved his style, and he did it in a lot of ways. In the 2022–2023 season, Arsenal was a dominant, elite possession team; they played aggressive, front-foot football. They held a 4-3-3 base structure, with inverted full-backs. Zinchenko was inverting into midfield, forming a box midfield and a fluid front line. In possession, they looked like a 3-2-5 attacking shape. They always had a free man through positional play. Their attack was pattern-based and repetitive. Ødegaard operated in the right half-space too. They also started resembling a Pep Guardiola positional dominance model. In 2025 Arteta evolved that into a control + physicality + flexibility team. They now have situational control, they have become more mature, less romantic, and more ruthless. The build-up in the first phase has become multi-structured. They can build up in a 2-3-5, 3-2-5, or 4-2-4. The players now interpret space rather than just occupy it. That is why you will see Declan Rice drop as a centre-back, drive with the ball, or play as a 6 or 8 depending on the phase. Now Arsenal exploit what the opponent gives them; it is why they are able to dominate through decision-making. He also changed the defensive setup. They used to rely on counter-pressing and recovery runs, which made them vulnerable in transitions. Now, they use elite rest defense. They always maintain 3–4 players behind the ball, with proper spacing to kill counter-attacks early. They defend before losing the ball, not after. Then there is the role of Ødegaard. He went from being a system conductor to being a complete tactical controller. His role was fixed on the right: a third-phase creator, making late runs into the box and setting the tempo in attack. He was less involved in the build-up and not responsible for controlling the game. But over the years, his role has evolved. He now plays where the game needs him: dropping deep to help build-up and beat the first press, drifting centrally or to the left, and occupying half-spaces dynamically. He decides when to slow or accelerate the tempo of the game, and he leads the pressing triggers too. Now Ødegaard stabilizes the system, the brain of the machine.

Mikel Arteta never changed style. He has ALWAYS been the most complete coach in the world. The only reason it seems different is because the sport has evolved. This is why Pep went from playing with nimble technicians to 4 centre backs. You must adapt to the game cycle.

In the month August 2025, Man U played 4 games (1W, 1D, 2L). Their fans swore that Bruno was a cancer and no longer had anything to offer them; especially after his missed penalty against Fulham and the loss to Grimsby. From September to October they play 7 EPL (5W, 2L) and gained a bit of momentum, with Bruno making some contributions, but the fans said it was because of Mbuemo, Amad and Casemeiro. From November to mid January, Man U played 13 games (3W, 6D, 3L) with draws to Leeds, Wolves, Burnley and West Ham (all relegation candidates). They said Bruno was underperforming and needed for him to be sold; there were even transfer rumours of him going to Saudi in the January transfer window. Then Carrick was appointed in mid January and they’ve gone on to win 7 out of 9 games till date. So this same BRUNO FERNANDES who was shit in August, insignificant from September to October, poor from November to mid January, was rumoured to be sold in January, should now be given POTS because he was good for 9 games between mid January and mid March? But the likes of Semenyo, Rice, Gabriel and Igor Thiago who have CONSISTENTLY delivered throughout the season shouldn’t. Is this not mental illness 😂😂😂

I think the biggest mistake I have made in this current season is arguing with Manchester United fans on social media. Honestly I’m angry with myself! - A delusional fanbase that believe they can win the league after winning 3games?! For a club that will play 40games this season but cannot win 5 straight games! This is the stupid fanbase i have been arguing with! I’m ashamed of myself and will never stoop so low ever again! - when they move on from their Bruno Fernandes player of the season charade.. they will move to Carrick to win Manager of the season! Just watch. It’s easy to predict what fools will do. John Mikel Obi made a big mistake by not playing for Manchester United because him and the fanbase reason the same way.

When Man City won the league for the first time after over 40 years, we all supported and celebrated with them. Same for Liverpool. We wish them well because it was good for the league. But when it comes to Arsenal, rival fanbase + pundits, combine to push agendas and narratives to destabilise the players and discredit their achievements. How shameful and hypocritical. Trust me, if Arsenal had received the respect, and support of rivals and pundits through this process, it would have been reciprocated by Arsenal fans. But it's okay. We will succeed regardless and we will not let your betrayal slide.
