MacPacker

MacPacker ( @macpackerapp ) v0.18 is out. It may look like a small step up from v0.17, but it’s been a long road to get here (nearly 3 years). Until now, MacPacker was “just” an archive previewer and extractor for 40+ formats. With v0.18, it finally goes further: you can now create and edit .zip archives. 🥳 And it is still, and remains, open source 💪 New features - Create new zip archives from scratch - Edit existing zip archives: add or remove files, then save - Compress files and folders to zip straight from Finder - Open an archive and jump straight to a specific file via launch parameters Bug fixes - Folders now stay on top by default when opening an archive (download options in the thread)

MacPacker v0.14 is released. Available via - In-App Update - GitHub Release - Direct Download The App Store version is still under review. Brew should be updated soon as well.
