Vijay Joseph Election Promises cost
TN 2025-26 budget was around ₹4.4 lakh crore total expenditure (revenue receipts ₹3.3 lakh crore), with fiscal deficit 3% of GSDP and debt projected over ₹10 lakh crore.
Estimated cost of all 336 promises made will potentially go to ₹12 lakh crore/year which is nearly 3x the state’s budget.
