I'm pleased to share that Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Mental Health (the official journal of IACAPAP) has just published a special collection: "Navigating the Complexity of Psychedelics' Therapeutic Potential in Minors." As psychedelic-assisted therapies progress, extending this research to younger populations raises distinctive scientific, developmental, and ethical questions. This collection of seven open-access articles brings together complementary perspectives — from frameworks for adolescent clinical trials, to systematic reviews on hallucinogens and cannabinoids, to family-centered considerations in psychedelic-assisted therapy.
