Hello all, macserialjunkie is going to be offline for a few hours, for a minor upgrade of our phpbb bulletin board. (Version 3.3.11 -> 3.3.12).

The board is now running fine (and much faster) on a new server, some more bolts must be tightened before we reopen, sorry, RL and family first now, see you on monday !

While the old site still holds against attackers, a new one is now setup. The Team will start testing it tomorrow, good news normally for the week-end!

Yessss, we have a new server, relocation work has started ... stay tuned! (more news in 48 hours).

... oh, and one more thing ;-) Please STOP donating atm. we have received more than enough money for the moment, keep it for later! Some authorities are raising their eyebrows upour on that sudden raise of donations. Time to be quiet and patient.

The amazing flow of donations in the recent days has greatly improved our bounty, our gold donator so far beeing even a Team member ! We will now use those donations and relocate to a safer haven. This will take some days, but, again, we'll be back, stronger than ever...

Your love is killing us, time for a serious break, sorry. We are facing an endless ddos, by the usuall network scanners & trolls plus so many people trying to connect to msj that we explode the meter every day. We now will have to change to a better hoster with more bandwidth.

Remember please... the whole team@msj is working for free / zilch / nada... the money you donate to msj is used solely for hosting and backup costs, we afford our beers and snacks by ourselves. If you can help, even by 1 € £ $ it will help in return for you all !

We're, again, back online ! Answer by our hoster: It appears to have been caused by the bandwidth being over the allocated bandwidth of the plan, the plan allows for 8 TB, and already 17TB was used this month. Since we are close to the end of the month, I reset the bandwidth...

We're offline, again. Our hoster has turned off the switch for the 4th time. We faced so many attacks since we reopened that our harddisk was filling with logs and got full in less than 2 hours. We will work on a solution, tomorrow, 28th of April. For the moment RL™ is calling!

Hi members, the wait is over, we're back online ! phewwww doggy has saved his pecker, we couldent' reopen during the we and lost our bet, he'll now have to figure out what to do with it !

Had to kick out a few members already lurking on the board, some maintenance work is not finished yet, but we're soon back dear fellow junkies...

We have 2 tables to convert, with 10 years disscussions among more than 100'000 members. Table 1 (596994 text records) is now converted at 100%, and Table 2 (11594605 numeral records) has now started... still a few days to wait certainely. But we'll be back !
