5 things CEXs look at before listing your token. 1. Tokenomics. Team allocation, vesting schedule, VC entry price vs public price. If the structure creates obvious sell pressure, exchanges see it. They've reviewed thousands of tokens. 2. Legal and compliance. Where is the entity registered? Who are the founders? On tier-1 exchanges this is a must-have. No clean legal structure means you're deprioritized, regardless of everything else. 3. DEX trading history. Exchanges look at what happened before you came to them. Manipulation patterns, wash trading, pump and dumps. It tells them what to expect once liquidity is added. 4. Liquidity plan. Do you have a market maker? Who is managing depth and spreads after listing? Showing up without an answer to this question is a red flag. 5. Investor backing. Who funded the project? Which funds? At what stage? A recognizable name in the cap table means someone already ran due diligence. Exchanges factor that in. Most projects start thinking about this too late and that's one of the main reasons why they fail on listing. The listing process starts long before the application. If you're planning to build long term, everything needs to be in order from the start.
