I am sorry. I respectfully disagree with your proposal. There are thousands if not millions of people who similar to me would be barred by your wording. There are many Americans since birth born overseas because one or more parent was serving our country in the military, the State Department, and similarly situated cause. We should not be penalized nor categorized with the perssons you are seeking to bar. Your wording leads to an unjust result. Respectfully, please revise the wording to treat this matter correctly. For example, I served this country honorably and continued to serve to my utmost in the Department of Veterans Affairs until taking early retirement because it was felt that my 100% service connected disabilty would soon result in my death. I am certain there are others out there more immeniently qualified to hold office who would serve well and that your proposed amendment would unfairlly bar from office. Sorry that I am being too wordy. It's just an unjust proposition as worded. For example, Senator McCain would not have been able to be elected.

Ilhan Omar. Shri Thanedar. Pramila Jayapal. All born in foreign countries, none were citizens by birth. All sitting in the United States Congress. All making clear every single day their loyalty is not to America. We just introduced a long overdue joint resolution proposing a constitutional amendment to require Members of Congress, federal judges, and Senate-confirmed officers to be natural born citizens. This is the very same standard the President and Vice President are already required to meet. The people writing America's laws, confirming America's judges, and representing America on the world stage should have one loyalty: America. Not any other country. For too long we have allowed foreign born members to hold seats in this government while making clear they are America last, not America first. We see it every day. This constitutional amendment will put an end to it.

This is the mentality of many. Eating leftovers and cheap meals is “prison rations” and a form of punishment Never mind they don’t encourage you to invest those saved dollars to GROW your down payment. They don’t encourage saving. Money management or anything. It’s “we deserve treats or it’s prison” and that’s why you can’t argue with them because the logical solution isn’t logic to them. Also house prices are nuts. That’s completely accurate and a problem too. But not encouraging young people to save is just stupid and wrong.
