I think the "Adrien is a sheltered child so he's a bit out of touch" excuse worked at the start of the show but now he's a teen with unrestricted Internet access and a lot of free time who spends his whole day bedrotting while doomscrolling on ZooTok. It just doesn't work anymore

@Bugstung I don't know about french boys in particular, but i haven't met a 14 yo (which I know plenty of, courtesy of my 14 yo sister and 14 yo cousin's classmates and friends) who isn't familiar with autism. I'm not talking about being properly educated about it, just being aware of it.

@ladynoirose Oh yeah I just think it's funny that he was given the role of the guy born yesterday. It's kind of like how they made Marinette do a lot of bad stuff early on so kids could learn from her mistakes.
But that's just the price we pay for watching kids shows lol
