ah yes orientalism, when you headcannon characters as having features found in the people of countries and regions that the author himself has admittedly drawn inspiration from for said characters. it should be brought up that the author is orientalizing his own characters too.

You're right anon, I've been thinking about it too and even made a post about it. Their parallels are jarring, especially for 2 characters who are perceived so differently. Aegon was also seen as romantic and beautiful while he was young anyways.

this is projection. It's weird to assume this, but even then it's better to self insert yourself as a victim and be empathetic than self insert yourself as 14 year old girl getting groomed. I can assure you there are more people who imagine themselves as lyanna than vice versa.
