I've been fortunate to watch lots of world cup coverage (too much?) from Canada, US and UK. And for me, you can't beat @JacquiOatley calling the play by play. Any chance of mentoring the next Gen of Canadian commentators Jacqui? 🙂
Really hope TSN fixes their online streaming for the World Cup. Currently no ability to pause/rewind live and programs only go on demand hours and hours later.
@dominicsikora I reached out to TSN Help last week and they replied (via dm) that they were deciding which games to put on demand. Implied that they didn't have rebroadcast rights for all games. Sure hope the reply is incorrect!
@madbaker66 Not specifically, no, but they do it for other live events (e.g. MLS games). I assumed that they'd be doing it for WC and if there was any change it would be to make it more accessible. If for some reason they don't have games on demand that would be next level stupid
@marakh101@TSN_Sports It's looking iffy. I asked @TSNHelp via DM last week and the reply was that it was being looked at game by game(?!) Like they had to acquire replay rights additionally. Looks about as certain as beer sales at the stadium. 😕
@TSNHelp hey there! I'm curious about your world cup coverage. Will we be able to watch replays on demand without spoilers? During the Euros the replay videos were right beside the highlight videos with the score in the title!
Series starts tonight on SBS. Well worth watching.

The conversation with @joseybakerbread back in 2019 was one of my all time favourites, so I'm bringing it back for a Second Rise. We go all over the place and I love it. Listen (or re-listen) at riseuppod.com
Our London adventure started on a high. Jetlagged, overheated & starving, we sit at a Cypriot restaurant by our hotel and the first person to walk by is @ZaltzCricket. He's in conversation so I chicken out of saying hi but squeal in delight to Cindy and now tweet about it. 😀
The Rise Up! Summer Series kicks off with Nate Houge of @brake_bread from way back in Episode 5! Nate is a wonder. A whirlwind. A two-wheeled, guitar slinging, bread shaping force of nature. Enjoy this talk with the Man From St. Paul. Listen at riseuppod.com.
Today is a special hikerpod with Joan Kanner of @BmoreBagels in Baltimore. Although she's talking to me from the hoodoos in Utah! We talk bagels, landlords, and bakery roadshows. Listen at riseuppod.com.
