Yeah, even if you dislike the film, it’s hard to deny Ludwig’s mastery. His score elevates so many of the film’s strongest moments. Damon, Anne, and Ludwig are the true MVPs of the film.

One recurring theme in Nolan’s recent films is humanity’s role in engineering its own downfall, explored through his protagonists. Oppenheimer did it with greater depth, but The Odyssey proves that few filmmakers today match Nolan’s blockbuster craftsmanship.

Odyssey was a superb theatrical experience. Nolan made few great artistic choices, & at no point did the film felt long. Editing has always been Nolan’s greatest strength, & once again, it proves instrumental in maintaining the film’s relentless momentum.

Gen Z may be the most disillusioned generation yet. Depression, anxiety, fractured attention, little experience of real love, isolated despite constant connection, consumed by social media, detached from those closest to them. Exhausted, disappointed, & emotionally adrift.
