@madebygoogle @madebygoogle My Pixel 7a had a swollen battery after ~2 years. Device became unsafe to use (bulging back, potential fire risk). Google acknowledged this issue exists on some devices, but refused support because mine is “not impacted”.

@madebygoogle It's a pixel 8a. I already went through all troubleshooting steps with support. Apparently it's built into the OS that if the primary account is managed by another account then Repair Mode is disabled entirely. That is so dumb it's hard to fathom. Children break devices.

@GooglePixel_US do you guys realize how stupid it is that you can't turn a phone into repair mode if the phone's Google account is managed by parents? As if kids never break their phones? Whoever's idea that was, needs to be fired immediately.

@madebygoogle It's been YEARS since I got a HUMAN to help me with my broken Chromecast. Non Chromecast tvs work fine. It worked when I got it. I've spent over 120 HOURS debugging. Says there is no wifi when every other device works. Everything I buy from you breaks and you never support it

@madebygoogle No that doesn't work. This is a 'safety feature' which is confirmed by an android notification, but there is no option to turn it off. It's making the phone unfit for one of the purposes for which it was intended.

@madebygoogle how do I stop the Pixel 9A automatically reducing the volume to an inaudible level 'for safety.' It's a feature I don't want or need, especially during a run - I either have to stop my run to undo or stop listening to my podcast.

@madebygoogle Is there anyone that can actually help me with my issue? 9 pro XL had a green line & a red line. Took it to an authorised center to be fixed and they replaced the screen and made it worse. You sent me a brand new sealed one, this one flickers and has a green line

@madebygoogle I've had no help at all despite messaging and calling to get an answer but they're always uninterested. I want actual help. Maybe taking to social media might finally fix the issue... They're not bothered about the rights we have as customers.

@madebygoogle My pixel 6a is eligible for battery replacement program. uBreakiFix says the battery is swollen, so replacing it would break the screen. 2 weeks of emails, and your support fails to understand the issue, they just tell me to go back to the store. Can you help?
