I eventually want to move it into the garden, but I have to figure out how to run it completely headless first, since it's been disconnecting from wifi without being able to reconnect. If anyone stumbling upon this knows why a Raspberry Pi 3b would do that, please let me know!

My awesome new avian listening device™ (raspberry pi with cheap usb microphone running birdnetpi) has been deployed. It listens to the bird songs/calls in the area and categorizes them. I've got 27 species already!!

@Patchouli_Toy For your own sake, you really have to convince yourself that it's a loud minority which further consists of mostly bait, though that's depressing in its own right.

It's genuinely depressing how under every photo from the Artemis trip I've seen, there's been a menagerie of people claiming it's AI, CGI, etc.—some seemingly in defense of flat Earth, and some for reasons unknown.
