@tripperhead Not the same for us. Arrived at 7:10am and didn’t get to our hotel until 12:15pm. Was very busy but also lots of confusion for our baby whose QR code created a technical error at their end. Other families were in the same boat!

⚠️✈️🇭🇰 45 minutes from doors open to in a taxi! That's great.

@tripperhead Arrived back from Taiwan today at midday - arrivals process was great, and was from doors open to point-to-point taxi in 45 mins! (Wondering if this is specific to green lanyard stream - as red and blue went somewhere else).

A very relevant post on how we important it is to teach critical thinking skills to understand and make sense of the information we consume. langwitches.org/blog/2019/11/3…

“Scaffolding is critical to our inquiry journey. Too often teachers enter the inquiry pool in the deep end, heading straight to Free Inquiry. Yet this could result in overwhelmed and underprepared inquiry students.” @MrsCJBurke @catkucia @SarahFranRobson @MrsKDavies1 @_ClaireE_W

We have so many standards & so little time, which can lead to just telling kids what they need to know & having them regurgitate it on an assessment. Slow down, focus on big ideas, & spend more time teaching students how to think and giving them some voice & choice. #teachergoals

Here are the instructions in a single page for connecting up the EL wire to a @microbit_edu . It's easy enough but needs you to use a transistor and a resistor to get enough current to make it work. #microbit #makered

Love my mini-whiteboards and whiteboard tables for quick sharing of ideas and thinking. Students are much more eager to scribe, calculate, draw, respond and record their thinking in this more casual method.
